"The pub and the rooms were very nice but the service needs to improve. We had booked a table for three of us for our first night but when we arrived, someone else was sitting at that table and the staff didn't seem to care. We were offered another table in the 'dog friendly' part of the pub but refused it. One of the staff said (rather indignantly) that the whole of the pub was 'dog friendly' which seems odd as that is not what the sign said. Throughout our stay there was a black dog running...

"For an overnight on business this is ideal. Clean room, decent shower, comfy bed and good wifi. I only put wifi last because its work. Friendly staff and the food in the pub next door is quite nice , you know a variety of favourites from a chain pub yet good value. "
