"We arrived in Macerino after our drive from Rome to be greeted by our hosts Maria and Franco in the square of the village. They warmly welcomed us and showed us to the property which was around the corner from the square. We immediately recognised it from the photos. "This is a charming but very old home. It really is medieval with stone walls and floors. Updated bathrooms and kitchen. If you have mobility issues this is not the place for you. Steps to and from the front door and steps throughout the home. The owner was great and communicated well. We loved Todi, great little town and central location for visiting the hill towns. Use Stefano for a rental car."

"The pool area is exactly like the picture. A real oasis. This house is for those who like originality. Its layout is unusual and the deco is superbly personal. So many touches that made us smile and feel happy. The house was delightful - very comfy, two big lovely double bedrooms (one very private), a small twin room very private, lots of little areas to sit down and read a book. The downstairs kitchen is a bit dark and damp so not a space we used. You have to be willing to walk down to the pool...
