Umina Ocean Stays Beach House

This is a well appointed two story Beach House and separate self contained cabin (available to hire with the main house for an extra nightly fee) directly opposite the Ocean Beach SLSC, views to the surf, 60m to the sand and patrolled beach. Luxury accommodation for up to 9 in total and 11 with optional Cabin, ideal for 2 - 3 Families. House has 4.5 Beds (3 Queen Beds with 3 Singles) + 3 Baths + 2 Living areas, and optional Cabin 1 Queen Bed + 1 Bath. Heaps of parking. Note, the newly renovated one bedroom cabin at rear of the property is an additional charge but provide more space for the additional couple.

Located just five minutes walk to the Main Street of Umina Beach having cafes, restaurants, shops and a large Woolworths and Coles. No need to drive anywhere, stay, relax, get a coffee, read a book, great for beaching or fishing.

Downstairs boasts two large bedrooms (one with ensuite), one single room, modern kitchen, separate bathroom with bath, laundry and living area. Upstairs has one large bedroom with ensuite and walk through wardrobe and a bedroom with 1 single and 1 king single bed (with single trundle bed), large living area and outside deck with views to the ocean and heads. Perfect for sitting relaxing, looking at the ocean, and taking in the sea breeze.

Newly renovated one bedroom cabin at rear of the property is available upon request to rent separate from the house if required for an extra couple.

Located just over an hour from Sydney in a quiet part of the Central coast.

Fantastic location, with the beach so close along with dining and shops. The house was lovely and clean. We had a great time i the house and loved the outside balcony upstairs to have a meal etc. Love to come back and stay.

Great spot. We had a lovely holiday.
Location is perfect. Across from the beach and a short walk to shops. House was very roomy for our family of 6 and had everything we needed, including beach umbrellas, a beach chair and games for the kids. Such a lovely break.

Perfect location
We enjoyed the house, it was well equiped with everything you would need. It’s not easy to find a place that has 5 bedrooms. Great view of the beach from the upstairs verandah. Enjoyed early morning walks on the beach at sunrise. You are so close to cafes and restaurants. Kim was extremely helpful and responded quickly. I would certainly come back again.

Great. As good as or better than expected.
Really enjoyed our stay. The house has plenty of room for a big family or a few friends. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The veranda is fabulous with a large table, breeze and view to the beach. The house is suprisiingly big and better than expected.

Totally Awesome!!

Fantastic holiday house and locations
We recently stayed at Ocean Beach House and can highly recommend this house! The location is perfect, walking distance to shops, the beach and parks. The owner is an absolute pleasure to deal with and is extremely accomodating!!! The house ia very clean and there are nice views of ocea beach from the balcony. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!

Beautiful holiday house
We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house is lovely, with lots of space. The location is central to everything. Ocean Beach, which is great for kids is just a few metres away. Shops are just down the block. Sandy was very thoughtful and accommodating. We will definitely consider coming back.

Perfect weekend getaway!
Fantastic location a stone’s throw away from Umina beach and a short stroll to shops/restaurants. The house is exactly as described and pictured, spacious, clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend brekky on the balcony, soaking in the sun and listening to the waves crash. Sandy is an excellent host. Quick to respond to all my queries and even gave us a late check-out so we were well-rested for our long drive home. Wine and chocs were a lovely surprise. Thank you Sandy, looking forward to our next stay!

Great Beach House
Fantastic house in a fantastic spot. Short walk to everything. Beach, shops, loads oftake away, bars, playgrounds. Very comfortable rooms and lots of space for the kids. We had three families stay for a long weekend and really enjoyed it. The night spot next door was a bit rowdy on Friday and Saturday night but the house was quiet enough and the kids slept right through. We only wish we were able to get a baby sitter so we could have joined in. Also, Sandy whom we dealt with was very friendly and accommodating.

Fabulous location and very spacious
By far the best holiday rental I have stayed in. Spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped, extremely well priced and located right across from the beautiful Ocean beach (we had all our meals on the balcony overlooking the beach). The owner was a pleasure to deal with and happily accommodated all my requests. We were two families with small kids and the house was perfect for all of us. There were so many extras that made our stay even more enjoyable: wine and a box of chocolates on arrival, DVD library, beach toys/balls, beach umbrella, coffee machine with pods and board games. Supermarkets, cafes, playgrounds and pubs are all a short walk away so we didn't have to drive anywhere once we arrived. We can't wait to stay again!

Great holiday stay
We really loved staying in this house. So close to the beach with such a beautiful view. We had a few rainy days, but this didn't stop my husband and two kids having endless fun playing the wii and toys and board games. Even the movie collection kept my kids entertained for hours. The house was very accomodating too with coffee and tea supplied and a pod machine that kept my husband very happy and the wine and chocolates were a lovely treat that didn't last very long! The bedrooms were beautifully furnished, towels and all made it feel like we were staying in a luxury hotel. The best part would have to be the balcony that had stunning views of the beach where we spent a lot of time enjoying too. Thank you Sandy for a truly memorable and fun holiday.

Amazing Host, Fantastic House, Hidden Paradise!
So close to the Beach, Parks and Shops, so once here no need for a car. The house and cabin provided space for our extended family to gather for the Easter Break with enough room to be together and apart if needed. Travelling with babies can be tricky and this house accommodated them extremely well. All facilities were very clean and comfortable and made to feel more like a home than a holiday house. The little extras (including the Wine and Chocolates) were immensely appreciated. The kitchen is very well equipped. The veranda was enjoyed by all morning, noon, and night with most meals being eaten there. Sandy was simply amazing throughout the whole process, from booking the stay, arranging a payment plan, answering questions prior to arrival and prompt replies/action to queries whilst there. We feel she went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic. Our family had so much fun in this little piece of paradise. We all would love to go back.

Excellent Experience for a short getaway from Sydney Highly recommend!
We were so blown away number one by the location, right on the beach. The house is huge with 3 outdoor seating areas. The top floor has an amazing view of the surf. So many beds and 2 seperate TV areas everyone had enough space to play together and find solace. It is a short 5 min stroll to all shops inc woolies Aldi BWS and a number of excellent take away shops there is no need to cook at all even though it has a fully functional kitchen downstairs. We had lunch next door at Margarita Daze which had incredible views all the way back to Palm Beach and a well priced seafood menu that ticked all the boxes. The area was quiet yet central. Sandy the owner was so helpful and friendly. We couldn't rate this higher and it changed my idea of what Umina has to offer. We can't wait to come back and stay here again and make this a tradition. We were 3 seperate families (3 mums and all our kids) Value for money and happy kids ages ranging from 2.5 through to 15 even with no internet. Everyone enjoyed themselves.

Very comfortable and suited our needs well
Hi Sandy - we had a very pleasant stay. Very clean and comfortable. Appreciated the supply of basics in the pantry and toilet paper, soap etc. We had a little difficulty opening the keylock, took force with a metal object (key). I think there is a small leak in the upstairs shower, or possibly from the cistern. One morning I noticed a water trail from between the shower and toilet. Glad you had the upstairs bed made up as we had not realised the single bedroom downstairs would be so small. We were relieved though that the upstairs bathroom is two-way (perhaps this could be mentioned on your website ?). One night I had difficulty sleeping because the wind rattled the windows all night - this was in the Q bedroom off the upstairs bathroom). I fixed it the following night by stuffing it with paper. Overall though, we found it a very good place to stay. Thank you. Gwen.
