Stuibenfall-Tyrol's larger waterfall: The Stuibenfall in Umhausen is an impressive natural experience. The interested viewer has an unforgettable and impressive natural spectacle. The Stuibenfall is considered the largest and most beautiful waterfall in Tyrol. The water masses rage 159 m into the depths.
Recently, a total of five platforms have been built on the Stuibenfall in various sections, from which the waterfall can be experienced up close. Especially on the top platform, the visitor is on 'You and You' with the Stuibenfall.
Every Wednesday from May to October, Tyrol's largest and most powerful waterfall is illuminated after dark! On these days there is also the possibility to take part in guided lantern walks.
Recently, a medium-weight via ferrata, which was set up by Ötztal mountain guides in spring 2008, has been leading along the waterfall.

Experience the beauty of the Ötztal up close: Because our house is a partner company of the Ötztal Nature Park. You can take part in all guided hikes and events in the Ötzal Nature Park for free.

Nature Park ”is a distinction with which the Tyrolean state government awards areas that are of great natural history and are particularly suitable for recreation and knowledge transfer.

Cross-country skiing, tobogganing, winter hiking: Our location offers routes for beginners as well as for experienced runners, for skaters as well as for classic cross-country skiing, for athletes and for nature lovers.
In addition to moderately difficult night trails and high altitude trails at over 1,500 m, the area offers, in addition to the impressive panorama, cross-country trails between 1 and 22 kilometers in length. Experience the Tyrolean nature on relaxed rounds through the valley or bring your condition to a new high in the clear mountain air. The routes are lavishly groomed and each according to your ability or your needs.
Tobogganing is a wonderful activity for families, teenagers or the elderly. Regardless of whether with a feeder taxi or after a strenuous approach: a toboggan ride is always fun.
In the Ötztal you can choose from a variety of toboggan runs.
Mostly the toboggan trip can be combined with a cozy stop in a hut or an inn.

My wife and I stayed at this property 3 nights while exploring the Oztal area. This flat works great for a couple or a small family because the floor plan separates the two bedrooms from the kitchen/dining room and bathroom. The pictures accurately depict the flat and its condition. The flat is immaculately kept, and furnished well (it's a real home and not a contrived rental space with IKEA wall-to-wall). The kitchen had every conceivable pot/pan/dish that you'd ever need. There are two markets within walking distance. The owner was really nice and communication was prompt and efficient. We'd love to return, and Umhausen is a great location from which to explore a very beautiful part of the Austrian Alps.

Our stay at Haus Huberta was perfect! Huberta was a wonderful host. The apartment was so clean we thought it was new but found out it was 100 years old. The location was great, in a nice beautiful village, with an amazing restaurant 5 min walk, Gasthof Andreas Hofer. We can’t wait to visit again!

Schönes gemütliches Appartment
Wir waren 4 Tage für Skiurlaub da. Mit dem Auto sind es 25 min bis nach Sölden. Nur 3 min bis zum nächsten Supermarkt. Die Wohnung hat gut ausgestattete Küche und Badezimmer mit Badewanne. Wir haben uns hier sehr willkommen und rundum wohl gefüllt. Vielen Dank an Frau Huberta Leiter!

Gemütliche Unterkunft, gute Lage & freundliche Vermieterin
Der Aufenthalt in Umhausen war wirklich sehr schön. Die Wohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und das Badezimmer sehr modern. Huberta hat uns jeden Morgen mit frischen Brötchen versorgt und auch sonst bei Fragen stets ausgeholfen. In unmittelbarer Nähe gab eine Bushaltestelle. Von dort aus wurden wir (mehr oder weniger schnell) in die Skigebiete der Gegend gebracht. Das Gute an den Fahrten nach Sölden und Hoch-/Obergurgl war, dass wir mit als erste eingestiegen sind und so die ca 45 minüte Fahrt sitzen konnten.

Toller,erholsamer Urlaub
Eine sehr ansprechende Unterkunft mit einer sehr persönlichen Gastgeberin. Hier kann man sich von A bis Z erholen! Die Ferienwohnung bietet alles, was man im Urlaub so braucht, die Lage im Ötztal ist vorzüglich und zudem findet man auch Ruhe zur Erholung.

Sehr empfehlenswert
Die Fewo entspricht genau der Beschreibung. Sie ist sehr gemütlich mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause. Es war die sauberste (einschließlich der Fenster), die wir bisher erlebt haben. Die Lage ist zentral und ruhig. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit ohne sich aufzudrängen. Es gab alle 3-4 Tage einen frischen Satz Handtücher und gratis Brötchenservice. Unbedingt zu empfehlen! Der Ort ist sauber und gepflegt, die Bewohner sehr freundlich. Die Gegend lädt einfach nur zum Träumen ein und bietet die vielfältigsten Möglichkeiten, den Alltagsstress zu vergessen. Für Ausflüge liegt jede Menge Angebotsmaterial in der Wohnung bereit. Auch die Gastgeber geben bereitwillig Tipps. Herzlichen Dank für die schöne Zeit und alles Gute für die Zukunft! Wir kommen gern wieder. Betina und Peter aus Freiberg

Sehr schöne Unterkunft
Die Wohnung entsprach genau der Beschrebung. Sie war aussergewöhnlich gut ausgestattet und sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Einfach nur zum Wohlfühlen. Die Vermieter waren sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ihr wunderschöner Garten war sehenswert. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Toller Skiurlaub
Gesucht wurde für unseren diesjährigen Skiurlaub eine Fewo im schönen Ötztal. Online gefunden haben wir diese tolle Wohnung . Sie ist perfekt für Urlauber ausgestattet und entspricht 100% den Bildern. Es wurde an viele Kleinigkeiten und nützliche Dinge im täglichen Leben gedacht und sie wurde in einem absoluten sauberen und tadellosen Zustand übergeben. Wo findet man schon einen Kaffeevollautomaten und 3 Fernseher! Wenn man sich nicht scheut mit dem Auto bzw. dem Bus in die einzelnen Skigebiete zu fahren kann man diese Wohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen.Vom ersten Kontakt per Telefon war klar, dass wir auf sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter treffen werden. Der hervorragende Brötchenservice und das Bemühen von Frau Leitner um unser Wohlergehen haben dies auch bestätigt. Kurz um, ein sehr gelungener Urlaub. Was will man mehr…. Außer wieder kommen

Schöne Ferienwohnung
Eine schöne Ferienwohnung mit einer sehr netten Vermieterin. Frau Leiter hat uns mit selbst gebackenen Plätzchen , Marmelade und Wein begrüßt. Alles war sehr geräumig, gut ausgestattet, auch im Winter angenehm warm und hell. Umhausen ist noch ein Ort, der glücklicherweise vom Tourismus à la Sölden und Oetz verschont ist. Es gibt noch viele Bauernhöfe und alte Häuser im Ort. Zum Einkaufen gibt es einen M-Preis und einen Bäcker, die gut zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Von Umhausen fährt man ca. 20-25 Minuten zu den Skigebieten nach Sölden. Auch ein Skibus hält nicht weit vom Haus. Obwohl es im Dezember in den Alpen wenig geschneit hatte, war Abfahrt bis ins Tal möglich. Doch der Schnee, der dann ein Tag nach unserer Ankunft freudig erwartet kam, verzauberte das Ötztal schnell in eine Winterlandschaft.

Gelungener Urlaub in einer sehr schönen Ferienwohnung
Sehr saubere und landestypisch eingerichtete Ferienwohnung. Hier bleibt kein Wunsch offen. Alles dabei von vollautomatischer Kaffeezubereitung, Waschmaschine und top eingerichtetem Badezimmer . Auch in der großen Wohnküche ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen gelungenen Urlaub braucht. Bücher über Wanderrouten im Ötztal, Spiele für Kinder und Wissenswertes über Flora und Fauna ...bestens ausgestattet. Die Vermieterin ist sehr sehr nett und immer hilfsbereit, eine tolle Überraschung war der kulinarische Willkommensgruß und auch die leckere selbstgemachte Marmelade, die eines Morgens bei den Brötchen lag rundeten einen wunderschönen Urlaub ab. Der Brötchendienst:GENIAL!!!! Toll war auch die Mitgliedschaft der Vermieterin im Naturpark Ötztal über den man kostenfrei geführte Wanderungen und Vorträge buchen konnte. Auch eine Vergünstigung im Ötzi-Dorf war mit dabei. Alles in allem: Absolut empfehlenswert!!!

Ausgezeihnete Wohnung, sehr nette Vermieterin
Vielen Dank nochmal für den wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Es herrscht in dieser Wohnung eine grosse Sauberkeit. Sie ist sehr gut aufgeteilt. Das Bad hat auch eine saubere und neue Badewanne was ein sehr gemütliches Gefühl gibt. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, alle Töpfe und Kochutensilien sind neu und fehlt es nichts. Die Matratzen sind sehr bequem und die Sofas in sehr guten Zustand. Alles bittet Ruhe, Bequemlichkeit und gute Laune um. Wir (Familie mit einem 6 J. Mädchen) empfhelen das Haus uneingeschränkt weiter! Wir kommen gerne wieder!
