Needs investment
Had the actual pub been open and operational, the stay might have been better. It is running on a shoestring and with only 3 rooms available the breakfast selection was very limited. Continental breakfast only but very little choice. The accommodation is in a hamlet with no facilities, so we had to make sure that we had a meal before we returned for the night.

Dont bother
First impressions of room looked good and that was it, Landlady was a sour faced @&#. She knock on the door at 10.15am telling us check out was 10am, after a mad rush we checked the website and found it was actually 11am as we thought. Bare electrics in the room, the mattress was filthy ,,,,never again under her ownership will we stay there again

Disappointed after reading so many positive review
Not sure what I was expecting but this wasn't it. The staff were pleasant enough but the building / bar / rooms were very grubby and in need of a good clean and maintenance. Our room had a clean bed and towels but the shower room needed a lot of work. Sink tap was wobbly and water made very strange noises after being on for a few moments. No hot water available via the sink. Shower was just adequate because of lack of power. Cracked floor tiles and very rusty radiator. Bedroom furniture a bit dilapidated. Sachets of tea / coffee etc.provided BUT NO kettle. Would feel embarrassed if foreign guests came to stay and this was what £80+ a night in the UK bought you. Also forgot to mention the dog poo in the Beer Garden - which I dealt with - as I did with our own dog (beware of the £10 additional fee per night for dog BTW!). Also someone had clearly been sick outside the building but no attempt had been made to clean this up. Would not recommend and will not be back.
