"Hotel Carlia provided us a comfortable stay for our one night in Uddevalla. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains conveniently shielded us from any of the light during midsummer. The room was clean, though a bit outdated in the bathroom. Plenty of space throughout. It would have been nice to have more climate control as it felt rather hot and humid in the room. "The bed was very soft. The mattress sloped on one side, making sleep difficult. I had to hang on with one arm to prevent my body from falling on the floor. Please fix this!!"

"Great spot, right by the water and in the middle of nature. The hotel has a spa/gym we didn’t use and a sauna (which was amazing). Great staff. If there is one thing that could be improved it would be the breakfast as it was very simple. These are special circumstances but I expected a way better breakfast for the price we paid for the night. "

"Well in it's day I bet it was a smart hotel,it needs a bit of TLC but it was budget hotel so you don't have high expectations,but I did not expect a broken shower holder, and the shower screen was not on it's rails correctly and black mold ,it was a good bathroom apart from that and the room was ok "
