"This hotel is simply beautiful with so much unique artwork and murals all over the places. Service was very prompt and professional. The front desk staff, Kimberly, was extremely helpful. She coordinated a transfer from their hotel to Merida, stopping by Chichen Itza and Izamal; gave us great instructions on where to visit in Valladolid; and assured us to use their free cave. "The village of Uayma is small and friendly with a gorgeous colonial church restored about 15 years ago. This property is directly across from the church with a magnificent view. The photos do not do justice to the detail and care that clearly went into restoring this hotel. The craftsmanship is truly a work of art. We spent Christmas here and felt we were living in a palace."

"The owner was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were perfect :) had everything you needed. There was also a closeline out the back door for drying clothes that was really handy (And hammock hooks in the room which was cool). The yard is beautiful and has tons of greenery, birds and gheckos. Frida Kahlo the cat that lives there is very friendly and cute. :) The door also had multiple lock options and felt very safe, and the property was only a 10 minute walk from the city center. "
