"The Delmar Loop and the Moonrise Hotel are a very special place for me. The magic has kept me coming back for over a decade. Its versatility accommodates young singles looking for nightlife, couples looking for romance, and families looking for a fun weekend. Dogs are not only welcome, the lobby hosts a doggy refreshment station and a welcome board listing the names of the dogs that are checking in. The staff is always super friendly and helpful and the rooms are always top notch. This last trip was my 10 year old son’s first trip there.His exact words are “It’s the coolest freaking place I have ever been in my life and the bed was so comfortable I slept like a bear in winter”. We will always return to the Moonrise. "

"Check in staff were welcoming, effecient; behaving as though I was their ONLY guest. The hors d’oeurvres in the evening consisted of nachos, salsa, pretzels, and cheese, but they were replenished in a timely manner. Cocktails were wine or beer, but also plentiful. Breakfast was a nice selection including the favored “hotel waffles”, which are requirement of our children. Our room was very clean, beds were comfortable, linens crisp and fresh. Great value. Location within 10 minutes of most attractions. Highly recommend for family especially those not relying on evening meal/ hors d’ oeuvre at hotel. "

"Very nice hotel, cool room and super nice staff. Weird area - kind of a technology hub - but convenient location, walking distance to the Central West End. I'd stay here again, nicest hotel shower I've seen in years, comfy bed. Couple of things: 1) Pet peeve, housekeeping neglected to replace regular coffee pods in room, just decaf. But there's coffee in the lobby 2) If you want to park in the garage it's $25/night in an industrial area, or park on the street and use the Park Mobile app - but you have to buy parking in 2 hour increments, you can't pay for the day. I took the chance and didn't get a parking ticket 3) Couldn't figure out how to completely turn the TV off, it was a soft blue glow like a nightlight that I didn't need But all in all a nice hotel and I'd stay here again."
