"The carriage house far exceeded our expectations. The home was even lovelier than the pictures. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and there was even an extra pillow top cover for the fold out couch, making it very nice to sleep on (a previous review mentioned it being uncomfortable and it sounds like the owners made this change). The directions were very clear which I totally appreciate because my dyslexia sometimes slows me down. The room I stayed in was sooo cute! There were towels waiting for me on the edge of my bed. "Love how courteous the staff is. The staff and amenities definitely make this place better than most. The ONE knock I have is the wifi is NOT good. That is literally the lone complaint I have about this place. The fitness center, laundry rooms (bring coins and singles cause no matter how crispy the $5 bill is it they don't take it. "Unfortunately we did not get to stay at this apparently lovely home. We had a freak ice storm that grounded us. My review is on my interaction with the owner. He was always responsive! AND given he had no reason to work with us, he was fair with the lost rental. We are replanning our trip and hope the home is available when we get everything reset. It was going to be the perfect space for our crew! "
