Welcome to North Fork Cabin Rental's Hawks View!

We are family owned cabins nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our cabins are less than one hour driving distance from attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Crabtree Falls, Montebello Fish Hatchery, Oak Ridge Estate (Infinity Downs/Lockn'), Wintergreen Ski Resort, Rockfish Valley Restaurants, Wineries and Breweries, Walton's Mountain Museum, and the Appalachian Trail. We are also within an hours time of Lexington, Lynchburg, Charlottesville, Staunton, and Waynesboro, Virginia. All cabins are modernly equipped and ready for your stay. Come explore the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Hawks View is our most recently listed cabin!
The cabin sleeps up to 4 people, but is perfectly suited for a romantic couples stay.
Bedrooms: 1 Queen Bed in upstairs bedroom, and 1 Full sofa pull-out in the living room. Twin air-mattress is also provided.
Bathrooms: 1 Full Bath adjoining master bedroom, equipped with luxurious jet-powered tub and separate shower unit. 1 powder-room located on the main floor.

Great Place To Stay
We can't express enough how much we enjoyed our stay at hawksview. Our hosts, Kenneth and Margaret are always so wonderful and the places that we've rented from them are always impeccably clean and well kept. Location is great, and we always enjoy going down to the stream. This was our first visit in cooler weather so we enjoyed the fireplace immensely. We are looking forward to a return visit very soon.

Heaven at Hawk's View
The cabin was beautifully furnished with everything one needs for a getaway. But the most fabulous feature was the location along the Tye River. The view and relaxing sound of the rolling river was so peaceful we didn't want to leave. We will rent this home away from home again.

Cozy cabin in the woods with lits to do nearby
Hawk's Nest Cabin was very clean, well furnished and the location is near lots to do. We hiked to the falls at St. Mary's Wilderness and through the Blue Ridge Tunnel, and shopped at the Farmers'Market and Apple Stands/Stores. Loved hearing the stream flowing by and the breeze blowing through the trees as I sat on the side deck drinking coffee.

Very Relaxing
The sound of the rolling river through the property made it all worth while. My wife and I both enjoyed the opportunity to unplug(very remote location) and just sit out on the deck and talk, play games or do nothing. We hiked up Crabtree Falls and it was beautiful. Just a relaxing, enjoyable couple of days for us. We would definitely come back.

Such an awesome cabin in the woods directly overlooking the river. Plenty of room for me and my husband inside the house. And, plenty of places to sit outside as well. We already miss the sound of the rushing water of the river. We will definitely be returning!

Kenneth and Margaret are wonderful. Our first evening She called to check and see if we needed anything (of course the cabin had everything we could ever need). Everything was very clean and comfortable. We loved having coffee in the morning on the deck overlooking the rushing stream. All was peaceful and beautiful. We will definitely be renting here again.

Nice getaway
Just had another great trip to the cabins. I always feel welcome and now that I’ve visited a few times I’m getting familiar with where to eat and shop for groceries before I get there and during my stay. The stream outback was a great place to take a dip in the hot summer heat, although it feels chilly at first just jump right in. Try not to scare to many of the fish away.

Very well appointed cabin in the woods along the water. Great views of the stream and surrounding area. Cabin had all the necessities you would need. Just make sure to get food before making your drive. There are not a lot of stores within a short distance. Also - check the various routes to get to Wintergreen and the highway. Some of the roads are a little tricky and some are gravel. Just an FYI. Great overall experience.
