"My mum uses a Zimmer and the acces for her limited mobility was amazing. The staff truly went over and above from the second we walked in to the bar, restaurant, concierge, restaurant, spa etc.... I don't know how they get to know everyones names as so many people go through the door every day. Everyone was exceptional. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Food was out of this world. We weren't bothered too much yet, restaurant seemed to know just by a look, that we were going to ask for something or needed something. The place is warm, airy, fresh and the atmosphere was cheerful. Thank you so much. You made my Mums day and night. "

"What a hidden gem situated in a quiet, picturesque location. Exceptionally clean, beautifully furnished, well equipped and the private sauna and jacuzzi was a lovely touch. Powerful hairdryer, massive comfortable bed and Netflix on TV in room and lounge area were also appreciated. The breakfast was delicious with an excellent selection; fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, and a choice of cooked options. Lovely garden area to relax in and a beach just across from the property. The host Brian was very helpful and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay and hope to return. "

"Main standout quality of this hotel is it’s location. Beautiful views of The Mournes and very well maintained gardens. Also ample car parking space. If you want a quiet place to escape then this is it. Very attentive staff and excellent food. We did get the impression that one of the male staff was overworked- it seemed that he was absolutely doing everything, but must stress that he was an excellent ‘people person’ and that nothing was a bother to him. This hotel is only 1.8miles from the beautiful resort of Newcastle and is a perfect base from which to plan your hikes in The Mournes. "

"It was very convenient when travelling to the airports. It was a last minute decision so I only stayed a few hours and left at 4am to get my flight. It is warm and comfortable. There might be a person living in an apartment at the complex and he wasn't aware there was someone staying and he banged doors until midnight in and out to the kitchen until I went in search of, what I thought was, a window left opened that was causing a door to bang so often. I put a sandwich in the fridge for the morning and I noticed the fridge could be a little cleaner but I guess it might be hard to keep clean if there is someone living there full time. The bedroom with ensuite was immaculate with a large and powerful shower. The bed was comfortable and I had a great sleep."
