Beautiful Aberffraw
I have stayed at Llys Llewelyn Cottages on multiple occasions & find the cottages well kept & comfortable to stay in. Brilliant for a dog friendly holiday. Short walk to the Estuary, wonderful beach to walk on. Already booked for next year.

A lovely stay
This property is very conveniently located for Aberffraw beach, which is fantastic, and the town of Rhosneigr which offers more to do in the day and night, and close to many other attractions in Anglesey. The view over the fields at the back of the property is beautiful with cows and sheep wandering up to the window. There is also a nice, enclosed, small garden, which is pleasant, but does overlook the car park for the other properties and the village.

Perfect
This is our third time staying in these cottages. Says it all really. They are delightful. Clean, perfectly appointed, wonderful location. We love it and we’ll be booking for next year too. Only disappointment this year was the village pub was closed but I’m told it’s about to be taken over by new owners so hopefully it will be reopened when we return.

Glad to be back for another lovely stay
Thank you for another wonderful stay at Bwthyn Dwynwen . A lovely location on the Island and so close to lots of beach walks. I love the upgrade to the bathroom but I would suggest needs some more towel hooks and a shelf for toothbrush and toiletries, to save them being left on the sink base. Other than that it had everything we needed to be comfortable for our stay. And Maggie says thank you for her dog treats. They and the welcome basket were very much appreciated xx

Enjoyed our annual visit
3rd.visit to this lovely complex and won’t be the last. If we were being picky, having refurbished one of the bedrooms and bathroom, the living area now looks a little tired and perhaps a little more attention to the high level cobwebs!!Also I believe a washing machine is available but no drying facilities. This will not however deter us from booking again as this place ticks so many boxes. Thank you.

A short May stay
Wonderful location, close to walks. Do your shopping for food before you arrive as the village shop is not well stocked. Cottage was perfect for our needs and we will be back. A few stains on the sitting room carpet but that is too be expected with it being dog friendly. Kitchen well equipped although the knives for cutting meat or bread were not very good/strong. Cafetiere provided which is excellent for us coffee drinkers. Tea towels, scrubber, cloth and washing up liquid all provided. Beds very comfortable. Lovely clean shower room, only 1 toliet roll provided so ensure you pack more if staying for a week. Small enclosed garden with walls. If your dog can clear 4ft it will probably get over them as we had a visitor pop in from next door. Lovely little lab but the walls were not an effort for her. BBQ area is available for the use of disposable BBQs. We didn't use the laundry so can't comment.

Access
The quality of the property was first class. Given our ages we struggled to utilise the downstairs bedroom and we found the lack of space access to the 'wall' side of the bed made it impossible to use especially as it was also anticipated that use of the facilities during the night would be required. Therefore one of us had to sleep upstairs which again given our ages was not good for general access plus nightly visits. We would not recommend this property to others like ourselves but for younger people may be fine. We always loved the the location but sadly the weather was generally poor and we try to use local places for lunches and dinners, we found however the so few 'local' places available expensive and not of particularly of good quality. The onsite cafe was the exception to this, with good food and service and reasonably priced. regards

Ideal for our needs
The property was presented in excellent order, clean and well appointed. It was situated close to Anglesey Race Circuit where we attended a 3 day event so the location was ideal for us. The app with information was very helpful. The only slight hiccup was that I had difficulty finding the laundry room which the app said was labelled and was not. We would certainly return to these cottages in the future. Thank you for all your hard work to make them so lovely!

A relaxing comfortable stay
Enjoyed our first stay here very much. The cottage was well equipped, cosy and comfortable. Lovely weather, so saw it at its best. Plenty of parking with the addition of ev charging points which was great, ensuring we didn't need to go hunting to recharge the car. Definitely wil be back!

Lovely property in a quiet part of the island.
After a tortuous road trip, 11 hours, delays everywhere, it was a relief to find the property so easily, and to be able to make ourselves comfortable very quickly. A very bright property, excellent condition, comfy beds, and a good shower which really needs a shelf on which to place soap and stuff. Sky tv would have been nice but not essential. Spending just a little more on a decent, more accurate, microwave oven rather than the basic budget version would be of some benefit - it’s no big deal but this isn’t a budget level property. Having the excellent café a few yards away was good although, and common along east Anglesey, it closes by 4pm and isn’t open Mondays and Tuesdays. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this lovely location close to the estuary and its walks. We may come back but travelling on Fridays we have found over the years to be especially fraught with lengthy delays. In both directions this time. Not the organiser’s fault but we need to choose an alternative travel plan.

Excellent location for our short break lovely cottage just the right size for 2 plus Charlie the dog. Close to the beach and ideal for visiting other areas of Anglesey, weather was kind to us so that made it even better! Recommended.

Great Location
This cottage is in a wonderful location. Short walk to the beach and a really lovely tea room just a couple of seconds walk from the cottage. The cottage itself is cosy with lovely views at the back onto a field with sheep and cows who come really close to the window. Inside the cottage, there are 2 comfortable bedrooms. The bathroom could do with being updated and the shower was dreadful - there was no working cold water and therefore no way of regulating the temperature yourself. The sofa was quite uncomfortable with the large back cushions having lost a lot of their shape. The whole cottage could do with a fresh coat of paint. To the front of the property, there is a small garden with a picnic table. This desperately needs painting or wood preservative as the condition is awful. There is no back garden (and there is no back door as the rear of the property is a field). This means that the only garden space is at the front, no privacy and the awful picnic table. My biggest complaint with renting this cottage was the letting agencies refusal to provide me with 2 keys. My son was planning to come and stay with me and enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. As 2 adults, we needed a key each to do the things we wanted to do and come and go as we pleased. Anglesey holiday lettings refused! There is no back door to this property so for example, if my son had gone out early to watch the sunrise, he would have had to either, lock me in (huge health and safety risk - what if there was a fire or an emergency?) or leave the door unlocked, again, another risk. As I said, Anglesey holiday lettings refused stating a pathetic excuse that they only have one key for the property. My son did not come and stay as he absolutely would not leave me asleep in the property early in the morning and later at night either locked in or with the door unlocked. Very disappointing to say the least.

Peace and tranquility in a perfect location
This is a perfect location for dog owners. There are walks along the estuary or over the sand dunes straight from the doorstep. The local pub is very dog friendly and serves excellent food. The accomodation was perfectly sized for 2 adults and the wifi speed and smart tv were added bonuses. On the negative side the two seater sofa wasn't the comfiest and although the bathroom was a little outdated, the shower was powerful and the water nice and hot. I would definitely come back to this cottage and area.

Lovely stay in Aberfrraw
The property we stayed in was lovely. There was actually a bigger table and chairs than we expected which was handy. The location is perfect and we had everything we needed. The only two very minor criticisms I have which didn’t affect our stay at all but might be useful for future people staying is there are no blinds in the downstairs bedroom so it gets very light very early in there in summer. Other than that we had an amazing stay and want to go back next year!

First time on Anglesey
This is a lovely cottage in a perfect location. Quiet and peaceful and convenient for visiting the many beautiful places on Anglesey. The cottage was warm and cosy and the upstairs bed very comfortable. Only 2 of us staying so plenty of room. The welcome pack was a nice touch. We did 2 good cycle rides straight from the door calling at Jaspels Cidery only 1/2 a mile away before getting back to the cottage. Unfortunately the pub and tea room were still not open due to Covid lockdown. The beach close by was great for evening walks. The spring flowers were out along the coastal walk from the cottage which was lovely. Plenty to see on Anglesey.

Lovely Location!
Clean and tidy accommodation with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. An issue with internet access was sorted immediately and a problem with a whistling window (it was very windy for the first few days!) was also sorted promptly when reported with the staff being very friendly and efficient. This was return visit for us as we were happy the first time too. Located in a good spot for easy access to all areas of Anglesey and the mainland with lots to do. The Afon Ffraw estuary was a two minute walk away and provides a lovely walk down to the beach which is very sandy and endless with lots of rock pools when the tide is out so great for families. The estuary is sandy all the way down to the beach so is ideal for children to paddle or play in the sand without even going as far as the beach. Another plus is the cafe next door to the complex where delicious local ice cream can be purchased and there is a small village shop two minutes walk away which stocks all the basics and Rhosneigr is only a 5 -10 minutes drive away where there are more shops and restaurants, including Scarlett's where you can get great fish and chips. All in all a great holiday destination.

NEW YEAR BREAK
THIS IS A LOVELY COTTAGE AND IN A GREAT LOCATION, JUST A SHORT STROLL TO THE VILLAGE PUB FOR GREAT FOOD AND EASY ACCESS TO THE LOCAL BEACH AND DUNES. MY ONLY CRITICISM IS THE LIGHTING IN THE DEVELOPMENT IN THE EVENING. THE COTTAGE DOES HAVE AN EXTERNAL LIGHT BUT THIS IS ONLY ACTIVATED WHEN YOU APPROACH THE FRONT DOOR WHEN IN THE GARDEN. THERE ARE LOTS OF HAZARDS LIKE KERB STONES AND EDGING STONES AS YOU APPROACH THE PROPERTY AND AT NIGHT THE DEVELOPMENT IS BLACK. THERE WAS A SMALL TORCH IN THE PROPERTY BUT DID NOT WORK SO BRING YOUR OWN TORCH.
