"This property was perfect for our family. It was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Each bedroom has its own thermostat, plenty of pillows, a luggage rack and a very comfortable bed. The master has a nice ceiling fan and the other bedrooms have a standing portable fan. The garage is heated too. We were very pleased with everything and recommend it highly. Thank you for the fantastic stay!!"

"Pros: It’s a cozy place for you to stay particularly in the cold winter. Close to the hot spring. The hosts are easy to communicate. They also have dog sledding on site. Cons: Separate/outside toilet is very inconvenient, although we knew it in advance, no one wants to go outside to the bathroom at night when the weather is below 0. The host provides 5 gallons of water for drinking and washing purposes, which is barely enough for 4 people, very inconvenient. Just wanted to leave some honest...

"When we booked this there were no pictures of the outside because it is pretty awful. It is definitely intentional. We weren't impressed when we pulled up. After going inside we discovered that it is a duplex. Not just one property to ourselves. It overwhelmingly it stank of stale cigarettes. It was as gross on the inside as it was on the outside. We put in our code and enter to find that there was a half-naked man smoking a cigarette in the living room. So that was great! We immediately left...

"Mary’s House is in a great location in Fairbanks. While not really walkable, you are minutes from the CTC campus and less than 15 minutes from anything and everything. The beds are comfortable and the appliances all in great shape. It was a great home base for a week while we worked and explored the city. Plan on returning anytime we need to base out of Fairbanks!"
