"Close enough to the ski areas to be woth the affordable price and little town of Fairplay. Historic hotel with great lobby with fireplace for lounging. You wont be sitting in your room because its small. Be prepared to open a window because it got hot. Better than cold! Breakfast included with croissants, eggs and breakfast burrito etc. Good!"

"I enjoyed staying at the Delaware. Leadville removes the 1-70 traffic and makes it an easy drive to Ski Cooper or Copper Mountain. The Delaware is a wonderful historic building. They provide coffee in the morning and have a lovely restaurant and bar. The accommodations are comfortable. The place was kept warm. Parking is nearby but not at the hotel unless you are lucky to get off the street in front."
