"We had an incredible experience at Payne Lake Lodge. The lodge was big enough for our family gathering. Cheryl was very attentive to our needs. She took care of stuff that required attention promptly. We ran into communication challenges exchanging and getting information via VRBO site but Cheryl and I manage to rectify the missing important details we required regarding arriving and entry to the property. "Great central location for skiing at Castle, hiking and visiting Waterton National Park. The property was very clean and spacious. The surrounding property and community was very nice. We liked Joe’s Gym just down the road. Although I became a little concerned when I hadn’t received access instructions for the next day, I was eventually able to liaise with the host to obtain. Otherwise, communication was clear and easy. We would stay here again when we return to the area. "

"This house worked out great for our ski weekend at Castle Mountain. We like to cook so we appreciated the well stocked kitchen and the good quality cookware. We ran into a couple minor issues but the host was very responsive. The tv only works for streaming (no network tv), and is a little tricky to figure out. And the washer/dryer unit is a real oddity, so a suggestion would be to include some instructions for both of those things in the welcome binder. "

"This is a nice property with full amenities. Easy Check In/Check Out process. Riley was quick with his responses to any questions we had. The listing for the property however, does not indicate there is no inside access to the downstairs, you must go outside which is inconvienent with a large group and small children. Overall a property we would stay at again when skiing at Castle Mountain."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our visit in Waterton at Josh’s place. The kitchen was updated and the 6 bedrooms were perfect for our family and all of us had a place to sleep. It’s very spacious and enough amenities to keep us all busy! We had all of our family come together to spend quality time and make beautiful memories!"

"Firstly, when i booked the property it DID NOT MENTION that we were staying in the basement. A day before of my arrival i receive pictures and title that said bottom suite. At that point it was too late to book something else. My family was extremely disappointed. From the basement you can barely see the views with high grass outside. The next morning we had the spectic tank alaram go off. Due to low water levels, we were afraid of running out of water so only person had the chance to shower....
