The buffet breakfast with traditional food is not to be missed! It is so good that it known all through the city and can get busy during the breakfast hours. We love the little pool for our child and the wonderful grounds that surround the pool. The parrots eating the mangos from the trees are also fun to watch. We have stayed at this sight three different times and love it every time. The location has been very convenient for us too.

Breakfast included 7-10 arrived at 9:45 one day and was told there was no food left in the area where breakfast was served. Next day I arrived for my American breakfast at 8:00 am there was nothing American about it but the toast. After complaining to the waiter Inwas given two sunny side up eggs. The advertised gym had s tiny universal gym thatbhad not been serviced in yesrs and was non functional. At that point I left the gym. Air conditioner blows into the bed had to block it with pillows. Shower was imposible to regulate finally took a lukewarm shower.

Nice one night stay before flight
Nice choice for a 1 night stay before our flight. Quiet despite being on a very busy street, all rooms are in the back. Great included breakfast. We could not use the airport shuttle (100Mxp pp) because it only goes twice in the morning and our flight was at a different time. Paid 350 MXP for a taxi

The facilities, cleanliness, breakfast and the staff. The only problem is that I suffer from a lot of allergies and I picked this place because no pets are allow, but there is a kitty that hangs out at front area of the hotel, so I manage to avoid it.

Things are a changing...
This was my favorite hotel to stay in while in Tuxtla and I travel to the area over 6 times a year on business. There have been some recent changes with how the 'free breakfast' is offered. Previously it was offered through the in house restaurant, which was a fantastic buffet of regional options. However there is now a separate area near the pool area for hotel guests to have a free breakfast which consisted of old over cooked and over heated items, which might be fine if you didn't know what breakfast used to be like. Now you are up charged for the superior breakfast buffet offered by the restaurant hotel. In addition to the excellent customer service offered by the staff, the original breakfast really set this hotel apart from the other near by hotels. However with the recent rate increases and changes with the breakfast, I'm a little more hesitant to stay here in the future (I'm willing to over look the absence of the chocolate cookie and smaller water bottles in the rooms these days).

Property is good and staff friendly. It is however a pitty that management of this property had really bad policies. We stayed in a suite for 5 people, but the hotel policy was to leave only two very small bottles of water. Even though I paid extra charges for the extra people, they refused to provide extra bottles of water for free.

We came back to this hotel on our way back through, because the junior king suites are fantastic. The bed is super comfy, it’s clean, air conditioned and quiet. TV is huge... we are in love with the SureStay Hotel. Staff is the best, breakfast in the morning is great!!! We have zero complaints....

Nice hotel - great value
We stayed 5 nights. The rooms are not big, but cosy and comfortable. Ok location - about ten minutes in a taxi to the city centre. Nice gardens - quite. Most rooms are set back from a busy road. Great breakfast - very popular with locals. Authentic food from Chiapas.

A very good place for a short stay.
I stayed here for one night only on my way to San Cristóbal de las Casas. It was clean, comfortable, and attractive for a hotel right off a busy road. The service was friendly and helpful and the restaurant more than adequate.
