Tulum Secret Garden
Our group has a wonderful stay at this location. The rental included 6 distinct units which had access to the patio, pool, and each had individual kitchens. With 5 couples and one single this arrangement was perfect. The location was great and accessible to both town and short drives to the beach and the sites. I would 100% stay again.

Excellent stay
My friends and I had a great stay. It was a beautiful place to accommodate our large group. Carla, our host was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns and location of the place was great just a short walk down the street to restaurants. We felt safe in our area and we enjoyed the pool. Bonus was having a friendly cat who we loved! The shower/shower heads could be updated for better pressure but that was the only concern. It was nice that drinking water was provided for us. We would stay here again

Nice, but not quite what the pictures lead you to believe
We had a really nice stay at the secret garden. However, the property seems like it may have had better days in the past. The kitchens were pretty minimally equipped with many small bits not working (a broken toaster, non-functional stove lighters, broken refrigerator shelves, etc.). However, Lily, the property manager, was sweet and very responsive and dealt with every issue we had. There were issues, though: the electricity was off for part of the property when we arrived, the hot water didn't work for ~24 hours in one building at one point, and the toilet leaked in my daughters' room. The pool also seemed to have some issues, although nothing that impacted our stay (but no pool lights, unfortunately). Screen doors were also in poor shape, making it a bit hard to keep out mosquitos. The neighborhood is also a bit of a mixed bag with some really nice restaurants and also some really sketchy sections/trash piles/etc. It's also a bit of a walk to the Center, probably 15-20 minutes. Our trip was nice for a group of 15, but we often used taxis to get to the beach, restaurants, cenotes, etc.

Magical jungle getaway
Our group of 7 took over the entire secret garden villas, which made the experience amazing to have the full common area and pool to ourselves. It was clean and kept up well, and Frida the cat was an amazing house host. She will love and respect her if you do the same! We had absolutely no issues and brought Frida treats. We did most cooking in the outdoor kitchen even though there were fair share of bugs, plan accordingly! Citronella and incense will be your friend, or of course if you have access to an indoor kitchen (which we did) that is a better option. This is the perfect stay for up to 12 or even more guests as a fun family and or friends trip. There were some minor things that could have been handled differently like the towels situation, and other information like the washer and dryer which were not included for free. Small details like this should be addressed beforehand, but Carla was more than helpful bringing us anything we needed. I will definitely be back!
