"Checking in was easy. The hostess escorted us to the room since this was an older Inn. The room looked very cozy. The rooms were very clean. The bed was comfortable, with plenty of pillows. There is a pub with this inn. One frustrating thing; for 2 of the 3 nights we were there, other guests were loud, slamming doors, fighting in the hall, disregarding other guests. First night of disturbance was through 1:00am; and second night was after 2:00am. "

"Everything was great. I did not realize this was a B and B when I originally booked this stay so to say it was perfect is an understatement. We arrived late after delays and 35 hours of travel and were welcomed with great hospitality.. The homemade breakfast was delicious and the bed was so comfortable. It is a short drive to all the things in Kilkenny. I would highly recommend. "

"We had a lovely one night stay recently for a wedding we were attending in the rivercourt hotel, it was amazing value for money. The man dealing with us on check in was so so kind and chatty, we had arranged early check in prior to our stay and this was absolutely no problem which was great. "Great location and has everything you could want in a hotel. We did get rooms that did not have air conditioning or an elevator( it was unseasonably warm when we went in March) but we opened the windows and there was a fan in the wardrobe and it felt great. Staff helped us carry our luggage upstairs. Very nice rooms. Do make sure you bring an adapter if you are from the US. Definitely would stay here again."
