"This property is amazing. The staff are super friendly and everyone knows your name. If you are looking for a quiet nature filled get away, look no further. My fiancé and I did the scenic horseback riding and hiking excursion and the jungle couples massage. 10 out of 10 all the way. "

"I recently stayed at Hotel El Guarco in Cartago for three nights with my partner and my service dog, and once again, it was an outstanding experience. This isn’t our first time staying here, and every time, the service gets better. The staff is always incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel very welcome. The delicious breakfast included with our stay is always a highlight—there’s a great variety, and everything is fresh and flavorful. It’s also a bonus that some of the staff speak English, which makes communication easy and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area—whether for business or leisure.
