With this studio I love to create a home away from home for my guests. It's like a luxurious hotelroom with privacy. 2 min from Saguaro Natl. Park - East. Ideal for hiking, biking and birding. Just outside city limits, overlooking the city with desert and mountain views. Dark night skies, howling coyotes, hooting owls and occasional javelinas. Great getaway and solitude
Beautiful casita located at the foothills of the Tucson Mountain Range, right outside of Saguaro National Park. Our hosts, Frederika and Arie did everything to make us feel right at home. We highly recommend that you take the time to visit. You will not be disappointed!

Great location and host
The Damselfly studio was beautiful and the perfect location for our visit to Tucson, Saguaro NP, and Colossal Cave. The studio was exactly as pictured, had many amenities/supplies, and Fredrika and Ari were the most gracious hosts. I could not recommend more!

Gem in the Desert
This beautiful casita is a cozy piece of paradise. You can't believe how close you are to civilization when you are looking out over the desert terrain and beautiful mountains. It is a very peaceful place if you don't mind the howling of the coyotes. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit our family. Thank you Fredericka!

We had a lovely stay at Damselfly Studio! It was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. It was better than seen in pictures...you can't capture the peacefulness and serenity of the property. The studio is roomy, with charming decor. Frederika is a fabulous host, great with communication and prompt with any requests. We highly recommend Damselfly for your next stay in Tucson.

Magical Damslefly
We felt like we immersed in nature in this peaceful spot with perfect proximity for visiting Saguaro national park. This cozy space was so clean and bright and we felt right at home for the week we were here. Nothing was overlooked by Frederika for all the special touches. The sunrises and sunsets from this location were spectacular. We had the pleasure of Frederika and Ari’s company for a few sunsets and they quickly felt like old family friends ❤️ Was a perfect base for our mountain bike / road biking holiday. Cozy Tucson hideaway
The damselfly casita is perfect for a couples getaway! Beautiful southwest style decor, coffee, tea, fridge, microwave and everything you need for a weekend away. The spot is also very close to the Fantasy Island Mtb Park, which I would highly recommend checking out! Frederika was very helpful and you can tell really enjoys hosting. Would definitely come back and recommend anyone looking for a beautiful spot in Tucson!

Long Weekend Getaway
Perfect place to stay if you are exploring the east part of Saguaro National Park. We were warmly welcomed by Frederika. The studio is very charming. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds visit the feeder on the deck. I would highly recommend this property for a couples getaway.

Welcome is the word!
Frederika has thought of everything to accommodate guests and make them comfortable! It is charming and we loved watching quail in the morning and hummingbirds on our deck. The outside is as pretty as the inside. We would happily stay again and refer this lovely place and friendly host to others

Frederika's studio was so cute. Beautiful sunrise views - very spacious and incredibly clean. Frederika is so friendly and welcoming if you get lucky enough to run into her, as I did. Great for a single person, as the bathroom is semi-open to the room. All in all, a wonderful stay. Thanks very much and hope to return!
