"This is a very comfortable hotel we stayed in room 7 The air-conditioning was wonderful our sleep was remarkable after 7 hours of driving. The bed was comfortable i connected the television to wifi was like been at home. The shower was hot & very refreshing. Has a table and chairs to sit and eat& jug microwave Older style ceiling fan when turned on to full throttle its like small Tornado in the room Next door is a service station, MacDonald's only klm down the road. The hotel looks like its been there since the 1950s is in remarkable condition. Obviously been renovated. I would definitely stay here again. I fail to understand why there would be any bad reviews. . Value for money "

"A beautiful hotel on the river offering DELICIOUS pub meals. The view was absolutely beautiful from our river front dining. Though the room was just that, small and a single room, it was perfect for our stop over. The bathrooms.... Now I expected small, dirty, dingey, water barely dripping shared bathrooms, but boy was I wrong! They were sparkling clean, the water pressure was PERFECT, just like a rain shower and the stalls were decently sized with plenty of room to get changed in a dry space afterwards. Can definitely say that if we are doing another trip, this will be on the list again! "

"We had a wonderful stay in a lovely one bed garden apartment. Well equipped and clean, with a comfy bed, plentiful hot water and a good shower. The grounds and pool are spotless. The property manager is the best we've experienced in our mulitple visits to Australia. We were greeted, out of hours, with a welcoming smile, nothing was too much trouble. The couple of minor issues we had in the apartment were quickly dealt with. Location is good, steps from a patrolled beach that is perfect for families. We'll definitely be recommending The Cove to family and friends in QLD and would stay here again in a heartbeat."
