"I was on a 15 day trip traveling from Tokyo to Sapporo when Aomori was on our northern Japan road trip. Brand new hotel and spa right in the heart of Aomori! Great staff (Alicia is the best front desk receptionist and concierge) and nice and very clean facility. Walkable to almost everything and it is attached to the Aomori train station (which makes it easy to transfer). A must try breakfast and spa facility with some of the nicest and sweetest staff in Japan. Would definitely stay again if I am ever visit Aomori! "

"The answer was absolutely wonderful. The beds were a little hard, but were okay. The room was spotless as was the bathroom. We love all the amenities that come with the Dormy Inn like the free ramen and the welcome drinks. The breakfast was a good combination of Japanese and continental. There was something for every palate and the dishes were all quite good. We love how convenient the location is in. The parking on premises really helped us navigate Hirosaki."

"This hotel was in the perfect location for me. An easy walk from Aomori station but not so close that the resulting people traffic makes it crowded. It was also walking distance from several great places to eat. As for the room, I was expecting it to be small based on the pictures so I knew what I was getting in to. It was ideal for a lone traveler like myself though. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I had timing issue with my luggage delivery and they helped me through it. The only problem I had was not the fault of the staff. Many guests were not used to the fact that the front desk was on the third floor. There were a couple times when I’d get in the elevator with another guest only to have them push the wrong button. I’ve also seen guests take the elevator to the first floor, only to get back in and go to the third. The front desk is labeled in 4 languages, but maybe it could use more? Or maybe a picture would be more helpful. That was my only minor irritation: other people taking up elevator time and space."
