"Beautiful traditional Japanese Inn. Long history behind the inn nicely updated. Incredibly kind and helpful staff. The service of the traditional dinner in our room was above and beyond. We didn’t always know why we were eating but we did try everything. The hot bathing tub and outdoor shower were lovely and private. Nice amenities for the room. "以前にも泊まった事があり、食事が最高に美味しかったのでまた行きました。相変わらず晩ご飯も朝ご飯も大満足でした。晩ご飯は個室で食べられらるのでゆっくり落ち着いて食べられました。お風呂場は少し狭く古いですが、部屋は綺麗にしてますし、枕も良くてしっかり寝れました。また行きたいです。"

"The hotel is located next to Yahiko Shrine. In February, the area is a little too quite but it was okay for me to walk around and soak in the hot spring. There is very little mass transportation to get there. It’s a good place for healing. "

"From the bullet train gate at Niigata Station to the front desk took no longer than a three and a half minute walk through the station complex. Lots and lots of shops and places to eat on the way. All hotel staff very efficient and polite. Room not huge as expected but very good spec. Room wasn't facing the station plaza/ bus terminus so very peaceful. Best of all, the hotel restaurant. Buffet breakfast excellent and ¥1700 set dinner was one of the best and most beautifully presented meals I've ever had in Japan."
