Beautiful cottage and amazing hosts!!!!!
The cottage is so well appointed and easy to operate inside - the hosts thought of everything anyone might need. We loved the historic nature of the place and Vana was the most gracious host as well as her husband who kindly helped us with our bags. The location is wonderful, so close to town you could walk! We can't wait to go back!

Perfect Stay
We truly enjoyed our stay here! Vana is lovely and does a fabulous job of making you feel warm and welcome. The property has everything you need in a beautiful setting and is overall packed with charm. A very short drive or a nice walk to downtown Tryon where there are lots of shops and restaurants. I would absolutely stay here again!

Great little house
This guest house was just as advertised. Perfect for the 2 of us as we attended a Bluegrass festival at the nearby equestrian center. Bed was super comfy. Sidewall Pizza is nearby and that was a plus. We would definitely stay here again.

Victoria Cottage
A very sweet cottage in a lovely town, Tryon NC. My friend is a fan of Nina Simone and that was the draw for us. However, we found beautiful waterfalls to visit and excellent shops and galleries to wander.

Simple Elegance
This Cottage is Charming and Comfortable, Elegantly Appointed with Biltmore Estate Bedding yet simplistic with attention to detailed in the Original Architectural Design. Love the provenance that it has stayed family owned since it was hand built as an artist studio. Perfect location, just up the hill from the Fine Arts Center, shops and restaurants of Tryon. You are right next to town but nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Fun star watching at night. Vana was wonderful with communicating information about our reservation.

Cute and quaint, great bed!
This little cottage is really adorable with really nice decor. It was our second time staying there. The king bed is so amazingly comfortable! Has 2 comforters on it and super soft sheets, plus a really good mattress. Wifi is really good and the TV is big and modern. A few things to be aware of in the kitchen; all the appliances (except the Keurig) are somewhat vintage. The oven doesn't work, but the stovetop does. Microwave is an older model and the mini fridge doesn't make ice. (would have been nice to have ice this summer) So, I would recommend eating out or just making very simple, stovetop dinners and keep ice in a cooler. Enjoy this quaint cottage! I would love to stay in the winter and have a fire in that big fireplace and be all cuddled up in that amazing bed. How cozy is that?

Great accommodations, Fantastic customer service,
I requested the booking and received a reply in less than 5 minutes. It was first class customer service from that point on. We stayed one night for a nearby horse show and these are absolutely the kindest owners we have ever dealt with. Vana and her daughter were standing outside when we arrived and helped us park and offered to help with our luggage. She also had a few treats in the rooms when we settled in. The place is very well stocked with anything you would need and is ideal for 2 to 4 people. It's a really neat cottage with a little upstairs loft. Some friends were here for the same show and stayed nearby. I think they were a little jealous when they saw our accommodations. Our only disappointment is that we won't have time to walk the trails and shop in Tryon or Landrum, which is just down the road. They both look like nice little mountain towns. But we'll come back this summer or fall. And when we do, we'll stay for more than one night and we'll be booking with Vana.

Pleasant as always
I've stayed in this cottage at least four times now. With all the traveling I do, this is still the most comfortable bed anywhere! The cottage is perfect for 1-2 adults and 1-2 (8 years+) well behaved kids (not a lot of space for kiddo energy). It's private, quiet, charming/romantic, and in a wonderful location with a GREAT book selection and Smart TV (Roku/Hulu, etc.). The cottage is perfect every time of year, but I prefer it in the fall/winter because I love the fireplace and the mountain view from the bed when the leaves have cleared a bit. The hostess is always fantastic. As far as things to improve, I'm going to offer the same comments I always do: 1) As the write-up honestly states, this is not for folks with mobility issues. I'm 41 with no mobility issues, but I'm overweight, and getting up and down those very uneven steps every day was treacherous, especially with luggage. Not a big deal, but if I travel alone again, I'll pack lighter! 2) The kitchen is well equipped for mini-fridge/microwave stays or if you plan to eat out, but it's pretty limited for cooking full meals based on what items are available for use and the fact that the oven doesn't work. I'm always hoping to find a fixed or new oven, or at least a toaster oven, especially during the holidays. The cottage screams make cookies here! 3) The ceiling fan still makes a LOT of noise and the skylight is lovely 50% of the time, but it really would be nice to put an electric shade on it so that people can nap (would also cool the place down in the summer without having to run so much AC). I'd pay more for the cottage to have these fixes/upgrades. Until next time!

Comfortable stay in guest house
This little guest house is full of charm, originally built as an art studio for the original owner of the main house. The host does a wonderful job of having everything you might need there. The house is well appointed. She is exceptionally friendly and is right there if you have any problems. Highly recommend

Cute and cozy cottage was perfect stopping place
My wife, daughter and I really enjoyed our stay here - just enough for our needs for an overnight stay in a comfortable place where we could spread out just a little. Everything was clean and exactly as advertised. Our host Vana was super helpful guiding us the whole way and providing everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.
