You have your own neighborhood beach access to a gorgeous stretch of beach, along with also being walking distance to some amazing, swimmable Ponds! Truly the Best of both worlds. This Cape Cod designed, lovingly maintained home is a gem that you must see to believe. There's no way you'd be able to see this location without visiting this property. Upon entering the driveway, you will see to the left, the 2-bedroom building of the compound. In this first building, you have 2 Sleeping areas and one full Bath to share. One Bedroom with a Full, and one Bedroom with a Queen. This Room has a private deck. Then leaving this building, you will enter another to get into the Main Living Space of the Property with Kitchen-Dining-Living-Half Bath and ample space for entertaining, including a spacious deck for outside living, and then a large rooftop deck with amazing water views of the ocean, and certainly the best place for stargazing. Exit this building and find one more private building with a King Bed, laundry, and a unique Bathroom with changing area, private toilet and sink area, and a shower with a Wooden Soaking Tub attached. Perfection!
We had a magnificent stay! The location is right out of a dream, and the house is great. The views, the beach, the pond are all spectacular. Six of us and our dog fit very comfortably and had a wonderful time. Amazing!

Off Road
Beautifully secluded spot next to the ocean (visible over the dune from the roof deck) and to a fresh water kettle pond (5-10 minute walk) where little ones and adults can wade, swim or kayak. A sedan can make the last half-mile of bumpy dirt road but barely--it's in the National Seashore Park. SUV has no problem.

Amazing hidden location in the woods!
The house is in an absolutely lovely location, nestled above the dunes of the National Seashore. It is a 10 minute walk to the ocean beach (you can't get there directly from the property in order to protect the dunes), a 5 minute walk to one pond, a 10 minute walk to another, and a 20-30 minute walk through the woods to several others. All are swimmable with crystal clear water and no crowds! The house is well designed for families like ours with adult kids as it has separate areas for sleeping on either side of a large living, dining, cooking space. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to prep meals in and is well stocked with all cooking basics. There are gorgeous sunsets and 360 views from several decks. The house has clearly been much loved and well lived in over a couple of generations. This means that there is an overall rustic vibe with a little needed TLC in some areas of the property. Communication with the owner/manager was often slow and though they were accommodating to any requests, at this price point we expected a bit more proactive and clear communication. Overall, we loved our stay at this house and would go back in a heartbeat especially if some of the kinks in communication get ironed out and a few repairs/some deep cleaning is done on the property. Anyone who has the opportunity to stay right in the middle this very special and fragile ecosystem on our rapidly changing planet will be glad they did.
