The Space:
Having undergone a recent renovation, this beautiful bungalow delivers a great base for a relaxing coastal escape. From fresh wooden floors to white-washed walls and warm wooden furniture, step into a calming and serene space. The contemporary kitchen has everything you need to rustle up delicious home-cooked meals.
The open-plan dining room is full of light, with pretty views out over your lush garden and surrounding hills. And next door, settle into the comfy sofas with a film on the smart TV. Or, head into your garden room for a quiet afternoon reading the papers.
Along the corridor, you’ll find three well-sized bedrooms sleeping six. The master boasts a king-size bed and an en-suite with a waterfall shower. Meanwhile, next door there is a second king-size bedroom as well as a double room (photos show a twin but this is out of date). Its wonderful proximity to St Mawes and St Just, as well as its tranquil surroundings, make Trevennel Lodge a holiday home to remember.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the whole house and garden.
The Neighborhood:
Trevennel Lodge is located a half-mile walk away from St Just In Roseland, set in beautiful gardens at the head of a creek. In the village, you’ll find a picturesque church and lots of traditional Cornish architecture.
The Roseland Peninsula is a designated part of Cornwall’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so you can expect unique landscapes and unrivalled coastal scenery. Discover secluded coves, pretty creeks, rolling hills and tranquil beaches all on the doorstep. It’s a haven for walkers, wildlife lovers and watersports enthusiasts - with so much to offer.
Just a 5-minute drive or 30-minute walk, you will find the stunning village of St Mawes - known as one of Cornwall’s best gems. Perched at the very tip of the Roseland Peninsula, its unique position has brilliant ties with Falmouth, the Mylor Creek and Helford Passage. A regular ferry runs throughout the day, and if you’re lucky, you may even be joined by the resident dolphins!
In the village itself, you can explore the impressive St Mawes Castle, one of the best-preserved of Henry VIII’s coastal fortresses. Or taste fresh seafood caught that morning at Tresanton Hotel or The Idle Rocks - both with watery views. Further afield, pay a visit to St Anthony’s Head, Portscatho Beach (and the famous Hidden Hut restaurant), or any of the many lesser-known beaches that stud this spectacular coastline. Other Things to Note:
Our pond has lots of wonderful living wildlife. Please be careful and do not throw anything into our pond.
We are surrounded by two working farms with live stock all year round. Please keep your dogs on a lead at all times when walking in the fields & lane. Thank you.
