One of two delightful cottages within the beautiful grounds of Cusgarne House, The Threshing Barn and Church Close Cottage are fantastically restored 19th century buildings in the tranquil village of Cusgarne, just 15 minutes’ drive from the coast. Being in a very central point of Cornwall you are never far away from something that all the family will enjoy, whether it be shopping in Truro city or visiting Newquay’s Blue Reef Aquarium exploring their ocean tunnel.

With upside-down living, the open-plan living area on the first floor is fitted with the sitting area which boasts a cosy wood burning stove perfect for the evenings and opposite the homely kitchen with dining table; with a gorgeous finish all around of a perfect blend of stone and wood and upstairs all overhead are lovely illuminated oak beams which makes it feel even more spacious. Downstairs, the two bedrooms both have en-suites with the master being a king-size room and the second a twin, perfect for families.
Along with its own terrace and barbecue area, guests can also enjoy the large and lovely gardens surrounding the property and shared with Church Close Cottage. Both cottages have access to a games room with table tennis, along with beach equipment for use during your stay.

Just a mile away from the property you’ll find the calming pleasantries of Bissoe Valley Nature Park which is perfect for a morning stroll with the family and dogs; or even a perfect place to get the mountain bikes out to get some of that fresh Cornish air.
