"An unexpected stay of two weeks, and it was great. Everyone from the front desk to the housekeepers and the breakfast room staff were charming and always welcoming. The service and going the extra mile was truly exceptional. The common areas are elegant and wonderful for catching up on your reading. Some rooms are already remodeled, others upcoming. Ours was older but still clean, comfortable (oh the bed!) and roomy. Definitely on the stay again, and recommend list. "

"I loved this hotel and would stay again. The breakfast is very filling and kept me full most of the day. There were a lot of hot items (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries). There were also bagels, English muffins, juice, etc. The staff was very pleasant, and check in was a breeze. There was a coffee machine after the check-in desk with multiple coffee options (regular coffee, lattes, expresso, etc). That was a nice touch. The channels on the TV were extensive with four HBOs, sports, etc. The location is convenient and right off of I-91. You can't miss it. The only criticism is that there is a commuter rail that comes through here quite often. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room at the front of the hotel."
