John is very responsive and try to meet our needs. He even delivered a new kettle during our stay after I ask him if he happen to have one. Comfortable cabin with many supplies. Well maintained hot tub.

A family favorite!
We have stayed at several different cabins in the Donner area. This cabin was by far the best! From the view, the floor plan, sleep options, and the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever had. We are already looking forward to our next trip!

This cabin was so beautiful and well stocked! We had everything we needed for making our own meals for our group of 8 women celebrating a special birthday together. The hot tub was exquisitely clean… the cleanest I’ve experienced in a rental property. The location was beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful house plenty of space, beautiful views and amazing hot tub! Our kids had a blast in this house, sledding and playing in the snow right outside, and tubing nearby. We loved our stay and hope to return.

We loved this place so much that we booked it again for our friends and family trip. John was very communicative and ensured we had everything we needed to make our 4 night stay comfortable. The house is clean and well maintained. It’s also a very convenient distance to Sugar Bowl and is in a great neighborhood with a pub nearby that serves great food. This is the place to be!

We had a great week staying in this cabin. It was so comfortable for our whole family. I loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. It was clean, and well stocked as well. The owner was great to check in and make sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home and location
Group of 6 friends stayed the weekend. The two masters worked well for the couples and us solo 2 were just fine in the smaller bedrooms. Home is beautiful, super well-stocked, and the views are gorgeous. Jacuzzi tub was plenty big for all of us to be inside at the same time as well. Host John was super friendly and communicative and went over the top to make sure we were accomodated. Would gladly stay at the property again.

Awesome Cabin
This cabin has everything you need for a perfect mountain escape! The home was immaculate and well stocked for anything you may need. Great floor plan that gives families plenty of room to hang out and to also have privacy if wanted. We loved hanging out in the amazing jacuzzi after snowboarding and admiring beautiful scenery with a lake view!!

Lovely cabin, amazing host!
We loved our stay at the Donner Dayz cabin. Check-in was a breeze, and communications with the host were prompt and enjoyable. The cabin is loaded with everything you could need - extra linens, towels for the hot tub, grill, fully stocked kitchen with tons of cookware, even a fully stocked pantry! The Roomba was on the fritz during our stay, but I'm sure that will be resolved, and it will be great to be able to set it to clean up while out for the day.

The owner/host, John, was very accommodating and easy to work with. He checked in,via text, to see how our stay was going, more than once. The home easily accommodated the 9 of us and there were all the amenities. John was easygoing as to when we checked in and when we checked out. We would love to stay here again!

A wonderful place to stay at Donner Lake
A beautifully outfitted home in a quiet location with a great view of Donner Lake from a large deck with hot tub. It is very well supplied and perfect for someone with mobility issues. The first floor has a large communal area and well stocked kitchen as well as a very nice bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The lower level has a lovely primary suite with ensuite bathroom and two small bedrooms plus bath with a deck as well. It's our second stay and we will try to come back again.

We had an amazing stay! The home offered beautiful views, all the amenities you could ask for, ample space for large groups, top-notch safety features, and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking scenery. The home was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the spacious layout allowed everyone to have their own space. We felt secure with the advanced security measures in place. The kids had a blast exploring the outdoor space and using the available lake toys. We were able to unwind and recharge in the peaceful surroundings. The host even included toiletries in case we forgot our own, and device chargers to borrow as needed. Our stay was truly unforgettable.

Incredible home and Friendly, Helpful Host!!
My parents and my family (husband and 2 boys - 8/10) stayed at Donner Dayz for a week during July 2020. The home was not only clean and well-kept, but provided the thoughtful extras in the pantry (food and cooking essentials), and bathroom (dryers, toothbrushes and toothpaste if you forget yours). There were even games and other fun extracurriculars for us to enjoy as a family. John, the host, was incredibly welcoming and kind and we appreciated his quick help any time we had a question. We loved the home, hot tub and even relaxing in the hammocks!! We cannot wait to book for next July!
