Beautiful Lake Tahoe home within the 5 Star Northstar Resort & recreational area

Our home is located at Northstar at Lake Tahoe. A Five Star World Renowned Resort. The Free Shuttle Bus stops just in front of our home! Our home has 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and one bedroom is a TV room/play room with a daybed. It sleeps 13 comfortably including several couch's. There are 2 fireplaces to keep you warm as well as forced heat. There is also plenty of room for sleeping bags on the floors. Our home is approximately 2200 sq. ft. The front door and driveway are under video surveillance with alarm to ease in flexible of check in.

The master bedroom is upstairs, it is equipped with a California king bed and has it’s own bathroom and a cool fireplace heater please provide your own firewood as insurance has asked we not stack it on or near the house because of high fire danger. The bonus room is located downstairs with three other bedrooms and a bathroom. The other bedrooms consist of two bedrooms with queen beds and two bedrooms with two twin beds one of them also has bunk beds as well. All of the rooms have large closets in them. Last bedroom is game room/tv room downstairs has one couch and a twin day bed that kids can also use as beds, which they love to do! This room does not have a closet.

Both bathrooms have hair dryers in them. One less thing to bring! There are plenty of towels in the house. There should be two in the master and the rest are stored in the downstairs bathroom and or closet. There is a large cupboard there where you will also find the extra toilet paper.

Head over to the NPOA Recreation Center and use your renters pass to access the year-round outdoor heated lap pool, huge seasonal recreational pool, three big outdoor hot tubs, his and hers dry saunas, fitness center, seasonal tennis courts, playground, pay to play arcade, and game room with ping pong, pool table, and air hockey! With my membership there is a $10 fee per person to enter. Or, you can shop, eat, ice skate, see a movie or experience the s'mores and fire pits waiting for you at Northstar Village.

In the summer, enjoy the golf course, divided into the 'mountain nine' and the 'valley nine' for great variety. Or, you can take the gondola up the mountain and have a drink at the Ritz Carlton or test your biking on the trails and terrain features. Northstar is also centrally located to all the attractions of the area: 10 minutes to Truckee, 10 minutes to Kings Beach and Lake Tahoe, 15 minutes to Crystal Bay's historic casinos and nightlife, fifteen minutes to Incline Village's dining and casino, and 30 minutes to Alpine, Squaw, and Tahoe City.

Excellent location! Nice cabin for family stay!
We spent 5 nights with our kids and our friends at the property. It is a great location! We were enjoying short shuttle rides from and back to the village to snowboard with kids and skate after 4 pm. We spent a nice moment at Christmas! The owner was very attentive to our needs.

The house was close to Northstar. Owners were easy to work with! Only some minor issues with the home (showers didn't function properly and one of the bunks were rickety) Other than that, it was a beautiful home and I would gladly stay there again.

Awesome home, location, & communication
We had a great stay at David's home. Excellent communication throughout, with easy check-in and check-out The house was even bigger than pictured, with plenty of space and beds for large groups. Great location less than a mile away from Northstar Village. The shuttle service was quick and effective. David was gracious and flexible with check-in and check-out times. Overall we had an awesome time and hope to be back soon!

Very comfortable with plenty of rooms
The house was well equipped to handle our group of 10, and could have handled a few more. Pretty much as described - a simple open plan living / kitchen / dining room with a master bedroom suite on the main level; and four bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs. Each bedroom featured a different forest animal in its art and decor! There's comfortable furniture throughout, supporting a relaxing stay.

Great home for multiple families!
We've been going to North Tahoe for years and this was a great home for our large group. We were a group of 4 families and this was a perfect house! Great, big upstairs with a huge deck and then bedrooms to accommodate everyone (and extra sheets, blankets, etc.). The shuttle to Northstar village is super convenient and will come pick you up easily. Access to the NPOA with swimming pools and hot tubs was great as well. The price was great and we weren't sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. Would definitely come back!

Terrific vacation in the ideal Tahoe location
Our family had a fantastic stay at this cabin over the new year holiday in 2014-2015. The home is right in the Northstar resort, with easy shuttle access to the northstar village and a large network of hiking trails, sledding hills, etc. The home has an open kitchen that is fully equipped, a large great room and huge fireplace that warms the whole place. We were there with our young kids and another family and had plenty of space. Thee is even a gate at the top of the stairs for the young kids. The owner was super responsive over email and text, both before and during the stay. We loved our time in Tahoe and hope to be back at this house again during our next visit!

Great Family Gatherings
SPECIAL PLACE! We stay at the cabin many times and children called it "The Snow Home". I love the location, shuttle to take you down to the village to ice arena. The cabin is roomy and can accommodate number of people and activities. We cook Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen had everything you need to cook and serve big dinner. Plenty of room for kids to play and adults to sit by the fireplace. I love open areas with windows all around facing snowy forest outside. "The Snow Home" is a real home so much more than just a place to rent! I love it!

Great Home & Owner!
David's home in Northstar is superb for the mountain experience we were looking for this New Year! We had 3 families and there was more than enough room which was important given we received 12 feet of snow during our stay. Lots of kitchen amenities you would not expect in a vacation home....big carving cutting board, knives, many pots, wine glasses, etc... The shuttle to the slopes is to die for as well as the recreation center, pools and spa. Can't say enough about the lodging or the attentiveness of David for any inquiry we had during our stay. He is a host who understands how to assist guests in having a great experience. We would recommend anyone looking for a great Northstar experience to stay here!

The house was great for our large family. Plenty of beds and a well stocked kitchen. Only problem in kitchen were the knives. We cook a lot and they were really useless. The family that lives in the area brought knives for us. I suggest a sharpener be in the house. The neighborhood is very quiet and there are some wonderful hiking trails with in walking distance. Short drive to the grocery store and the beach. A good time was had by all.

Great rental for young family!
Our family had a great stay at this cabin right after the new year. We had two families of four staying, both with young kids and had plenty of room. The cabin was in great condition with everything you need for a short stay. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials, including spices, condiments, etc. that you normally don't find at rentals. The shuttle is right at the door and we never had to wait more than 5 minutes for them to come. There are games for the kids to play, two TV areas for kids/adult separation and even a baby gate at the top of the stairs! Very pleased with our stay! Thank you for the wonderful gift basket & bottle of wine as well. What a very thoughtful and generous owner! We'll be back!
