"The cottage is clean comfortable and calming, located in a pleasant resort community without the noise, traffic and tourist. A reminder of years past when vacations were simpler and happier. Lake acces was a plus."

"You must meet your host for the key, however he does not speak much English so that was a challenge. Be sure to email and call a few days in advance of your arrival to ensure that you can get a hold of someone if you need to communicate in English. "We liked the location being outside of the fancier, pricier options. Host communicated great and was flexible on check in and out times. Decent amount of amenities. "

"We were a group of 8 adults visiting Interlaken and were very pleased with our stay at the Jungfrau Family Home. We found the accommodations very comfortable and the kitchen was a good size for having meals with a large group. We found the location of the home to be quite good and we were able to walk to restaurants, stores and transportation. We would be more than happy to return when we come back to Interlaken. "

Your view from an altitude of 4500 feet looking across at the snowcapped Wetterhorn Is lovely, with excellent views of the valley below and the Schwartzhorn as well. "Our family of 5 (aged 18+) had a wonderful stay in Chalet Esther, Brienz. The weather was perfect while we were there, so we spent most of our time exploring the whole area. But, we always came home for dinner together. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook (no microwave), and grocery stores were easy to get to. "The house was incredible. The view was amazing. We enjoyed watching the ducks and swans. The only problem was finding the house the first time. "Cons- The family accomodation not suitable for more than 4 people with a max of 2 adults per stay. The towels were tiny, they were only big enough to wrap around my 5 year old son. The lift in the building was tiny and only big enough for 2 people. Pro-The apartment was easily accessible and the communication was excellent. The supermarkets were the next to the apartment which was great. The walk to the city was easy and close. "

Highly recommended hotel in Lucerne.

"We found Hotel Central Luzern to be a reasonably priced (relatively speaking) hotel in Lucerne with a lovely breakfast and comfortable rooms. It is very centrally located near the train station and ferry terminal, which was a real benefit not only for walking through the city and visiting other spots on this beautiful lake, but also since we used Lucerne as a hub for day trips to other cities in Switzerland, taking advantage of the excellent train service. Surprisingly quiet, and all the front desk folks were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The main elevator was not operational during our stay, but a tiny back-up elevator was available and all we needed to transport suitcases to our room and back. Highly recommended."
