"The ensuite room was clean and cosy with a lovely view of the garden. Breakfast was delicious and healthy, made fresh each day. When we requested dinner, this was also delicious and at a good price.The location was close some lovely towns and only 2.5hrs from Sofia. Wifi had good connectivity. The hosts were very friendly, had lots of suggestions for places to see and where to eat. They catered to us perfectly. Looking forward to coming again. "

"Beautiful property with stunning views of the mountain. The house and the barn are restored inside and out as much as possible to near original condition with knowledge and appreciation for the original building methods and materials. The stone roofs of all the buildings on the property are perfectly restored and they are absolutely spectacular. The spirit and the rural way of life of the 1920s can be felt. It was like stepping back in time. If one looks for a luxury is not going to find it there, however all the necessities for a comfortable stay are present; fully functional kitchen, clean hot shower and fast internet. The access to the house is off the main roads and somewhat remote, however the house is strategically located to allow for daily trips to perhaps two dozen places of interest: historic villages and towns, monasteries and museums. The host, Kalin, was great; very friendly, responding immediately to any correspondence and talking passionately about the restoration process of the property. "

"Magical location, really romantic and serene. We stayed at the castle which was a great and unique experience. We had a little issue with the toilet seat and the room was a bit small but I guess this was part of the charm of the place. Staff were really nice and friendly especially the somellier, yet some of them were very young and clearly needed some additional training. However, breakfast was nice and wine and rakish were divine. Place has so much charm and is really really unique."
