Uncleanly, pool down for maintenance but not advertised when booked, was told Id get a refund, then they changed their mind.
Took 6 kids expecting to swim to a hotel overnight for their christmas gift on new years eve.
Show up and the pool is unavailable, and the suite we supposed to have, had a leak of some kind and were moved to 2 rooms. I was never informed before checking in that i could cancel our reservation to get a refund. So we checked in and hoped we'd make the best of it.
When entering the 2 other rooms, the wooden area at the entry was very sticky, and we could see bits of trash on the floor and one on a piece of furntiture. Rooms were very cold, and found one room had a window left open. Smoke detector was beeeping so I asked front desk to change battery. He did come change it but it continued to beep. An hour in, We ultimately decided not to stay and checked out. Front desk said i could call next day and speak to manager about a refund. When i called the next day, manager made it sound like a refund was no.problem but had to go through expedia firat since that was where the reservation originated. Started that process, and was told id hear something in 24-72 hrs. Messaged back after 3 of not hearing anything and had to ask for another update only to hear a couple days later, they changed their minds and were " sticking to their policy" VERY DISAPPOINTING! B
