"I can unequivocally say we had a wonderful time from the moment we drove up until we were driving away. We had booked this as a surprise for our adult children (and their partners) to stay with us. They were absolutely wowed by the amazing castle, the amazing views and just how cool it was. The caretaker Mike was incredibly helpful and helped get us set up perfectly. We would 100% stay again - if we could find an opening :-) "

"The overall property is nice and staff is friendly. They have a great coffee bar in the lobby. But you won’t sleep past 9am, the street is VERY noisy, and while the older heater is efficient it is loud and will wake you up. If you stay here ask for an upper floor room we were in 101. "

"We really liked our room and the hotel. The major issue is the hotel is under construction and I was not aware of the work being done when I booked the reservation. Saturday morning we were disturbed at 7:30 by a lot of construction noise from the third floor (we were on the second floor). Staff was wonderful checking in as well as the staff at breakfast. Once construction is gone, access into the hotel should be easier as well as no noise."
