It was excellently appointed and very private. I loved watching the alpaca kids play in the mornings. There was NOTHING I disliked about it. I would and will stay there again if my plans take me back to Troutville.

The rental was stocked with high quality items, which was so appreciated. The best was sitting in the outside chairs, taking in the beautiful scenery, some deep breaths, and watching the goats and alpacas. This was one of our favorite stops on our trip!

Great cozy farm house spot
We had a great stay here. Good communication from the host and had no issues finding and getting into the property. Wonderful sunset and sunrise views of the valley below and the llamas and goats were great to hang with.

My husband and I loved staying here! The views from the room are beautiful and it is so peaceful sitting out in the front yard. I also liked watching the goats and got to pet a few of them!

We absolutely loved staying here. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. The view is amazing and the atmosphere is relaxing. The kitchenette is just right for warming up simple meals and snacks. Plus, the location is perfect for so many sights to see.

We wanted a quick, quiet weekend getaway and loved the location of this apartment. Great views and just minutes from the gorge. Matthew greeted us when we arrived, introduced us to the sweet farm animals, and made sure we had everything we needed. It was just the short escape we needed!

If you love animals and enjoy peace and quiet, this is the place! Matthew is a great Host and helped us with any requests and gave us recommendations. My Girlfriend and I will be staying here again.

This space was everything we could have wanted. A comfortable bed, nice kitchenette and lovely bathroom inside and a quiet outside area with beautiful views yet close to many adventures. The hosts were welcoming and informative and the animals were a fun addition. Would definitely come back!

Country stay near Gorge-excellent
My sister and I absolutely loved staying here! It was so close to the Columbia River gorge, quiet, and clean! The shower was fantastic as was the bathroom set up. We loved the space for two luggage racks and the shelving in the bathroom. The goats and alpca were adorable and greeted us when we arrived. I would absolutely recommend staying here and would stay again! Thank you!

this was a spontaneous weekend getaway for the holiday season. The property was clean, well equipped, warm, and comfy. It is quiet. The view was beautiful, even when it was raining sideways outside!
