The globe shattered, and the owner withheld an exhorbitant amount from my security deposit for repairs. I reported the damage immediately, thinking it might cost $50-100 to repair/replace a single 10-inch glass globe. "Stayed at this property for a ski weekend at the local resort. It was a great location (10 min drive both to the ski resort and the local town). We appreciated the opportunity to have a peaceful and beautiful place to stay that was away from the ski resort crowds. Our kids loved the games that the host had making s’mores in the firepit near the lake. The house is beautifully done. There was a maintenance concern (beeping fire alarm) during our stay but the host promptly addressed the issue....

"The house was perfect for our group trip up in the UP to grouse hunt. It was comfortable and the mud room was great to get all your gear off and not drag the mud into the house. We had a small issue with a power outage, but the owner was quick to get us hooked up to a generator until the power came back on the next day. We will definitely be back!"

"Nice place , right on the water , clean , beds were firm, otherwise really good . My only suggestion, hand towels and facial tissue would have been nice . There were only bath towels . But we had a good time fall colors were spectacular "
