Comfortable & original Villa 60 mt from the sea, beautiful beach & wonderful swimming - feels like paradise!
The villa is situated in a green garden, next to 7 other houses of same family compound. A sandy private alleyway takes you from to the beach.
The garden ends by the road , which could get noisy on peak time after Week End beach plans, or when the moto club decides to bike east coast!
The rooms are wide and comfortable.
The artistic and authentic yet simple decor makes it feel like home.

Week in the East
Charming,stylish, clean, spacious, well appointed family home with lots of thoughtful touches. We loved it here (family of 4, one 10 month-old and one 3 year old). We were very sad to leave!

Beautiful house at great location
Villa Montoc is a spacious, beautifully furnished well equipped house 50 meters from a great beach where you can swim and snorkel. We, a familiy of four with two children of 8 and 11, enjoyed ourselves very much. Sophie is a great host.

Wonderful house with character. All of our absolutely family loved it.
Warm welcome from Paquerette had a delicious Mautitian meal for us on arrival. Plenty of room for all of us, a beautiful veranda for sitting out and chilling and just steps from the beach. Sophie was extremely attentive and checked that all was fine with us every day. Thank you, we will keep great memories

Everything you need
The homeowner, Sophie, met as when we arrived. She had beverages and stayed to answer questions and point out features of the house. So appreciated! We had plenty of hot water very comfortable furniture, and immediate help anytime I had a question because Sophie responded so quickly. We were here in the winter so it was a bit too chilly and occasionally rainy to enjoy swimming at the beach just yards from the house, but I appreciated watching the ocean for the time I had. The covered patio with the dining room set and comfortable sofa plus the hammock were the highlight for me. We played cards and enjoyed good Mauritian food for hours out there. Would highly recommend this house!

Maison authentique dans un cadre idyllique
Le village de Trou d'eau douce est très sympathique et peut faire l'objet d'une base de départ pour vos différentes visites sur l'île Maurice. La maison est pleine de charme, très jolie avec de grandes chambres et un espace à vivre/manger spacieux et convivial. La propriétaire est au petits soins pour ses hôtes et toujours de bon conseil. Une personne vient faire une cuisine Mauricienne typique et succulente. Lors d'un prochain séjour à l'île Maurice nous reviendrons sans hésitation.

a beautiful house and a very friendly and hospitable host
we stayed for 6 days in this extraordinary and beautifully furnished house. The host Sophie was very kind and helpful and Paquerette, the housekeeper, was also a nice lady, who did a really good job. the house is situated close to the beach and in walking distance to Trou d´eau Douce. If you are into snorkeling, Sophie recommended Kevin, whom we found to be a very sensible and experienced boat driver. we would like to come back one day.

Wir haben Mitte August ein Woche in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbracht. Die Haushälterin hat uns am ersten Tag ein leckeres Essen gekocht und kam dreimal pro Woche zur Reinigung. Die Eigentümerin hat sich mehrfach nach uns erkundigt und bei kleineren Problem

Une maison de charme
La maison est parfaite, pleine de charme et avec tout ce qu'il faut (on sent la maison qui n'est pas juste faite pour de la location). Nous sommes arrivés en fin de journée très facilement grace aux explications claires de Sophie. Paquerette avait laissé un délicieux diner tout prêt et est revenue tous les 2 jours pour faire un peu de menage et preparer de délicieux plats. Nous n'avons pas rencontré Sophie mais elle a été présente par whatssap tout au long du séjour pour répondre à nos questions ou nous donner des conseils. Le bémol du séjour a été la météo : beaucoup de vent, peu de soleil, de la pluie ... bref nous avons découvert Maurice sous un temps capricieux mais ce sont les aléas de la météo ...

Un petit paradis
Notre séjour à la casa del Montoc a un été un véritable enchantement pour toute notre famille. La maison a un charme fou avec sa décoration dépaysante et originale. Localisée à proximité immédiate d'une plage magnifique, elle est parfaite pour se ressourcer en famille et sans effort. Nous avons également pu bénéficier des talents culinaires de Paquerette, qui nous a fait découvrir sa délicieuse cuisine Mauricienne. Enfin, les échanges avec Sophie ont été parfaits de simplicité, celle-ci étant très attentive à nos besoins et très disponible pour répondre à nos questions. Cette location est donc une magnifique découverte que nous recommandons chaleureusement.

Schönes, authentisches Haus mit großem Garten
Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir von Paquerette mit einem für uns gekochten Essen sehr herzlich empfangen. Das großzügige Haus war blitzsauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Man merkt, dass Sophie ein Händchen für geschmackvolle Deko hat. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und aus den Duschen kommt reichlich warmes Wasser. Besonders gefallen hat uns die wunderbare Terrasse, auf der wir unsere Abende karten- und Dart spielend verbracht haben, sowie der große, gepflegte Garten. Ein schöner Fußweg führt in 2 Minuten zum herrlichen Strand. Wir haben direkt hier im glasklaren Wasser gebadet und an seiner linken Seite an den Felsen geschnorchelt. Sophie war per WhatsApp stets erreichbar, gab Tipps und hat Fragen in kürzester Zeit beantwortet. Sollten wir jemals die Möglichkeit haben, noch einmal nach Mauritius zu kommen, würden wir sehr gerne in dieses Haus zurückkehren. Danke, dass wir hier Gast sein durften!

Sun, sea, wild and fun
Sophie vous accueille avec sourire, conseil, jus et repas … la communication avec elle est simple et facile, ses indications sont précises . La maison ressemble aux photos. La maison est décorée avec goût dans un esprit bohème beach surf et récupération de très bon goût. Les chambres sont grandes et spacieuses La grande terrasse est reposante avec vue sur le jardin Prendre le petit chemin privé de même pas 100m et vous êtes sur la plage … juste parfait car notre fils de 6 ans pouvait y aller en toute sécurité et même faire des allers retours plages maisons pour le bonheur de ses jouets Trou d’eau douce à un côté plus sauvage plus tranquille loin de la foule … une voiture est indispensable ou un chauffeur privé . Merci à pâquerette pour les petits plats qui nous attendaient le soir comme convenu… nous lui laissions un mot le matin avec les ingrédients… ce fut parfait … zen et détente Merci à vous

N'hésitez pas !
Malgré un temps capricieux dû à la queue d'un cyclone sur Madagascar, nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans cette divine maison. Pâquerette est discrète et active au ménage et à la cuisine. Quant à Sophie, une perle ! Disponible, arrangeante, répondant à tous nos appels ou demandes. Bref, on ne peut trouver mieux. La maison n'a pas vue mer mais tant mieux car elle est à l'abri du vent ! Alors, partez confiants avec elle.

Une parenthèse enchantée
Tout est réuni pour passer un séjour magique et se sentir comme chez soi, cela change des maisons aseptisées que l'on voit trop souvent! Cette maison a un charme fou et est très bien équipée. La plage à quelques pas est magnifique, Sophie est ultra disponible et Pâquerette une super cuisinière qui a séduit les petits comme les grands. Bref, un séjour au top et un grand bonheur. Merci!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit direkter Nähe zum Meer
Das wunderschöne Haus liegt superschön, wenige Meter vom herrlichen Sandstrand. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Ein klitzekleines Manko, das aber vielleicht gut zu wissen ist: eines der drei Schlafzimmer hat quasi keine Wände und direkte Verbindung zum Rest des Hauses, womit man alles hört, was im Haus geschieht. Sophie und die Angestellten waren wahnsinnig nett und hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen! Danke für die Gastfreundschaft.

Merveilleuse villa
Nous avons passé un super séjour de 2 semaines dans la Casa del Montoc. La villa, très bien située est décorée avec beaucoup de goût et a un charme fou. Beaucoup d'espace, rien ne manque et tout est conçu pour s'y sentir comme à la maison. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Sophie qui est très réactive en cas de question pratique pour la vie quotidienne. Magnifique séjour !
Un gros cocon charmant et parfait pour une vie de groupe ! Nous avons vécu pratiquement sur la terrasse ^^ qui est vraiment top pour réunir toute la maison autour du petit déjeuner les apéros ! L'emplacement de la maison est parfaite pour profiter de la plage qui est à quelques mètres et pour profiter des autres coins DE L'ÎLE MAURICE !

Un coin de paradis en famille
Une maison familiale qui respire la joie, décorée avec goût et beaucoup de pièces uniques où chaque coin inspire le voyage et l'art. Elle est idéalement située à l'entrée du village de Trou d'eau Douce et à seulement 1 min de la plage à pieds. Sophie est très accueillante et à l'image de sa maison. Pleine de bons conseils et très arrangeante. Tous les équipements disponibles, les grands espaces, la plage quasi privée et les bons petits plats de Pâquerette...On recommande vivement ce coin de paradis.

Ein Traumurlaub
Dank Sophies (Vermieterin) Kontakten wurden wir bereits am Morgen von Karl dem taffen Taxifahrer am Airport abgeholt. Er begleitete uns auch die ersten Tage, sehr zuverlässig ,bis wir den Mietwagen bekamen. Im Ferienhaus angekommen, empfingen Sophie und Paquerette (die Haushälterin) uns sehr freundlich. Poqurette bereitete nun 3x pro Woche sehr leckere landestypische Gericht für uns zu. Sophie war immer für uns erreichbar. Das Ferienhaus ist gemütlich und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Der Strand war sehr nah und feinsandig. Unbedingt notwendig ist ein brauchbarer Mückenschutz.
