Fabulous easter break away, lovely lodge, perfectly situated for town and beach. Very clean and comfortable with everything you need away from home. Will definately return
The lodge was immaculate with everything you could need except from bathrobes which were advertised. The shower was fab and a lovely bath. There was no furniture on the balcony the first day, but the following day it appeared without us asking about it, so unsure why it wasn’t there to begin with. When we arrived the door lock was broken, but this was fixed very quickly and the staff member was helpful, efficient and friendly.
I’d love to give the lodge 10/10 but unfortunately, the double bed is in fact 2 singles put together meaning there’s a hard ridge down the middle not ideal for couples. The beds are also very hard and not comfortable at all. The bed comfort is a big deciding factor for us when looking for accommodation so we would have chosen somewhere else had we known. Such a shame as excellent otherwise.
Should mention, clean towels were given but bed no house keeping service during 2 night stay.
Apartment was fresh and modern and main bed was super comfy. Great outlook onto the marina with nice terrace area ( no seating as it's quite small )
We had the pet friendly standard apartment for 2 ad & 2 kids plus our dog. Space was fine for a couple of nights, but we were kinda cramped and we never realised there was not a door to the main bedroom, all open plan. If returning we'd definitely opt for the family apartment next time. The sofa bed wasn't so comfortable for an adult, but fine for our 2 small kids.
Loved that Scott's restaurant was just upstairs and ate there one of the nights.
Beautifully designed clean room with a lovely view over the marina. Staff were friendly. Only issue was a buzzing/humming noise from outside that could be heard overnight which was quite loud and disturbed my partner.
Beautiful comfy apartment, plenty of space for the three of us (2 adults one 7 year old) staff were really helpful. Great location wishing easy walking distance of beach and town centre as well as being next door to a superb restaurant.
The apartment was clean and modern. I was disappointed with the view from the windows as I was expecting to overlook the harbour but our main outlook was of the harbour boat maintenance area. The room was suitable and roomy for a couple but there are beds for four. I do not know how this would work though as there is no door on the bedroom, so no separation of the sleeping areas. The room claims to be sound proofed but we could here the television from the room next door through our door. Luckily they did not keep it on late. The restaurant next door is very good and convenient.
