"A bit far from the train station"

"Very nice hotell and good service. There’s not a specific parking place that belongs to the hotel, if you have a car you need to park it in the P-hus and it’s around 20kr/h unless you find a place in the street that is cheaper. The room was clean and comfy but there’s not a water kettle for coffee or tea. "

"I thought i just needed a place to sleep for the night. It turns out what i REALLY needed was a night at the spa. Everything was incredibly quiet and comfortable. Angelina was behind the counter and made everything flow seamlessly. She really went the extra mile to ensure i had a wonderful visit. I truly cannot say enough about this place and the place i found here. I will make it a part of all future travel plans to the area because it was such a positive experience. "It was tidy and quiet "

"We stayed one night. The room was small but the bed comfortable although it was against the wall so not so convenient to get out of. We had dinner in the restaurant as we had received a discount for food. The menu was a bit limited but ok. B'fast was good even if did not have a massive choice. The staff was friendly and the location is walking distance to the harbour and centre of town plus there are a few parking spaces. "

"Hotel Carlia provided us a comfortable stay for our one night in Uddevalla. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains conveniently shielded us from any of the light during midsummer. The room was clean, though a bit outdated in the bathroom. Plenty of space throughout. It would have been nice to have more climate control as it felt rather hot and humid in the room. The window could be opened, which helped a bit. It was unfortunate that their gym and sauna facilities were being renovated as we would have enjoyed use of them. Although the area around the property has a lot to offer in terms of restaurants and small town shopping, the street immediately in front of the hotel is under construction and closed off, which made getting to the property tricky. The breakfast buffet was good, though it would have been nice to have items more clearly labeled for those with dietary restrictions/allergies. A member of our party is vegan and had some difficulty figuring out their options. When we asked the food service worker, she did not know the difference between vegetarian and vegan, so they recommended options that had milk and eggs. Other than these items, our one-night stay was comfortable. "
