The Gite was spacious and had all the amenities you would need, dishwasher, washing machine, hair dryer, and the kitchen was well equipped. "We have stayed in many French properties and this one is unique. Very well equipped, very clean, and the large wood burner kept the whole house warm in late October. Unlimited logs supplied and a lovely bottle of bubbly on arrival. Host met us on arrival and was very reassuring as there was severe flooding the week we arrived. We spotted deer in the fields as well as kingfishers, cormorants and a large heron. Unfortunately no fishing as the river was very high and very fast. Incredible...
