COME RELAX AND ENJOY THE PEACE AND FUN

Welcome! If you are looking for a great place for a getaway from the daily grind, here it is. You'll find peace and serenity in our 3 bedroom, 2 bath home on the water. We are at the opening of Willow Lake. Dock your boat at our pier and have the catch of the day for dinner. Year round activities. Fishing, Boating, Jet Skis, Snowmobiling and ATV trails out the back door. Have your morning coffee on the deck or out by the water on the pier. We have a sandbox and swings for the kids to play. Or just sit and relax by the campf Plenty of parking for the cars and trailers.

FISHING AND WATER ACTIVITIES:
Our 30 ft pier is perfect for docking your boat or fishing off to catch the big one.
We offer a canoe and kayaks for our guest. Here are boat rental options in the area.

The fishing is great. The small mouth bass, northern and pan fish are a plenty off the pier. There are so many great way to spend your days and nights in the great Northwoods. Very large yard to play yard games or sit by the campfire and make smores.

SNOWMOBILING AND ATV/UTV:
North, South, East, or West is where the trails will lead you. Leave right from our driveway and explore miles of trails in the Northwoods. See all kinds of wildlife while
you are cruising the trail system. There are establishments a plenty to stop at for your
favorite drink or a splash of gas.

THINGS TO DO NEARBY:
There are many quaint small town within 30 miles from the house. Phillips, Prentice, Medford, Minocqua, Lake Tomahawk, Tomahawk, Hazelhurst, and not that much farther are the big cities of Rhinelander and Wausau. Antiques and shopping is in abundance in the Northwoods. Whatever you are looking for you will find it here. Jim Pecks Wildlife Zoo, Zip lining, go carts, mini golf, horseback riding, golf, restaurants galore in Minocqua. Also tryout Paul Bunyon's cook shanty. Yum Yum. All u can eat.
Minocqua Winter Park is just down the road 15 minutes. They have all the things a winter enthusiast love. Snowshoeing, Cross country skiing, Ice skating and an awesome tubing hill. Take the kids and make it a family fun day. The chalet offers a nice warm fireplace to get the chill out for round 2 of fun. They offer food and drinks also.
Minocqua - 28 mi, Tomahawk- 26 mi, Rhinelander-43 mi, Wausau-68 mi.
The country roads and scenic adventure are the best part of going somewhere.

Relaxing weekend
Overall great place to stay. Exceptional cleanliness and thoughtful host. We forgot coffee and grilling seasonings and were pleasantly surprised to find both available. It made our day to find we did not need to make a trip into Tomahawk for these items. Plenty of parking as we had two trailers and 3 vehicles. Easy trailer drive to Harrison hills atv trails. Had a fabulous time and would recommend this host for cleanliness, communicatuon, and ease of property use.

Great Little Lake House
Our stay was very pleasant. It’s close to 2 great Campground Bars/restaurants. I would definitely recommend. However, the outside bugs were crazy, maybe a Mosquito Spray service would be beneficial, understandable that outside bugs are mostly out of the control of the Host.

some significant disappointments
Overall the property was clean...except for all the dead flies in the window sills. Instructions indicated additional towels and linens were in the closets but all closets were locked, save for one which contained a vacuum cleaner, some pillows and boardgames. So we made due without washcloths. There is a washing machine and clothes dryer there, but you can only use the dryer. This is not clear in the online listing. Also the wood burning stove was not functional. I called and was told it was broken, but the next day the owner came and "started it up". He told us just to keep it running on low (it burned wood pellets - an automated system) because it could be problematic to restart. Unfortunately it got too warm inside so we had to turn it off. Lastly there were no written instructions. This is the first VRBO we have stayed at that had no instructions as far as how to operate the wood-burning stove, how to operate the TV/DVD system, etc. I called about playing a DVD and the woman told me she didn't know how to do it, but that the folks who stayed there prior to us figured it out after an hour or so! Sorry but I am not that tech savvy. So overall the beds were comfortable, the place was pretty clean, clean linens and towels (although sparse). Communication with the owners was easy (always answered phone or returned calls - which was very much appreciated) but my problems weren't really solved. We did however really enjoy the outdoor firepit on the cool autumn evenings.

Quiet And Peaceful Location
The place exceeded our expectations and was very comfortable. The beds were comfy, the place was well stocked and super cute decor. The property owners were great and very communicative. The location is very quiet and off the beaten path. The weather wasn’t as cooperative as we had hoped and pretty windy so we didn’t get to fish the lake as much as we would have liked but did catch enough panfish for a fish fry.

Relaxing getaway
Had a great week of much needed relaxation. There was plenty of room for all 7 of us with the 3 rooms and 2 baths. Was great to have the quick access to the lake while also having a large yard for other activities. Another BIG plus was having access to wi-fi (yes, some work had to be done while at the cabin). Fishing wasn't the greatest it was great to see the eagles, loons and beavers on the lake. Greg was always very quick to respond with any questions that were asked.

Comfortable Cabin
This wonderful property is on a channel of the lake. I wrongly assumed it was right on the lake. We brought tubes to float on, but the seaweed and lily pads were too thick. However, it was the perfect environment for fishing. There is a wonderful dock. My husband fished from the dock several times. The cabin has 3 spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom and bath are very spacious! The kitchen was fully stocked which was great. The mud room is very roomy and has plenty of space. I loved the shelving areas. We were able to keep our cooler, fishing supplies, beach towels and sunscreen bags in there and still had a lot of room. Everyone loved that. The living room is very cozy with a couch and 2 reclining chairs. There is a huge screen TVs and a great music system. Unfortunately, we didn’t spend much time outside because it stormed most of the time we were there but the boys watched tv while the ladies played games. This is definitely one of the better cottages we have stayed in. The owner very promptly responded to all of my questions. It was a great little vacation for everyone in our group!

Great Getaway
Had a fantastic vaacation from fishing from the dock to tubing on Lake Willow. The location was quiet and peaceful but close enough to many busy towns that we visited. The description and pictures of the property do not do the property justice. It was charming and made us all feel like we where at home; very cozy. Will definitely not disappoint. We will be return customers Thanks for a great family vavcation

Great weekend getaway
We came for a weekend getaway and enjoyed everything about our stay! The place was very clean upon arrival! There was tons of charcoal and firewood stocked to use outside! There is a canoe to use and we even met the neighbors and they took us on a pontoon ride around the lake! There were plenty of clean towels, stocked napkins and everything you need for the kitchen! We will return for sure

The property is exactly like described in the post however in the property contact info it shows check in is at 11am & check out is at 330pm which should be reversed as we showed up while it was still being cleaned. This gave us a chance to meet the owner and get some help with instructions for the home (there are some off limit items to check for) & directions to the local grocery shop. The cabin has a rustic feel and it has all the amenities of home. We grilled out on the first night. It rained the second day so we stayed in for the most part and played board games. The cabin was a nice get away and it was unfortunate that the weather didn't allow for much exploring but we made the best of it. Thank you Mr & Mrs Nowack for sharing your home for our mini vacation.

Accommodating host. Easy to work with. Quick responses to inquiries. Extremely well stocked kitchen. Spacious yard for games. Nice fire pit for relaxing. Beds seemed old and lumpy. Recliners well worn. The smoke alarms went off the first night of oven use. Oven needs a GOOD CLEANING! Not as clean as expected from prior reviews: a clump of hair was found in the master bath shower drain, bugs in the light fixtures, (they are now gone) layers of dust on the many decor pieces. A deep cleaning would be beneficial. Nearby J&D's Reel Em Inn had good food. Fishing was good with a wide variety of species caught. Marginal cell phone service. Cottage was a good size for 4 adults. There were nice perks here-charcoal was furnished, as was shampoo, wood for the fire pit, dish soap, cleaning supplies but it also needs some TLC inside and out. It has the potential to be a great place.

Perfect Stay
Loved the coziness and decor. The place was spotless and the view of the river was spectacular. Having the games available was a definite plus. The bar/restaurant across the river had the best smoked bbq Saturday night. The only negatives was the goose poop mine field to get to the pier and no wifi.

Beautiful getaway
I went up with a few friends and it was the most relaxing getaway you could imagine. Very clean and peaceful place. I highly recommend this place. Definitely will be back!
