"This place was lovely, right on the slopes of mount Etna. Guiseppe and Louisa were fantastic hosts and were very friendly and helpful. Good set up of our apartment with separate living space to bedroom with lots of room. Only downside was small shower and no AC. On the day we were leaving they were quite happy for us to take our time as room was free for that day so woke up late and after sorting ourselves out we took a tour of the winery. "The stay had much to be desired. Check in was at 2. When we arrived at 2 we were told it would be about another hour as they were not ready. It was about 35 to 40 mins and the room was ready. When we got to our room we were told that the TV and the fridge dont work. Unfortunately I had to be a bit of a complainer. "We loved this place. We have never stayed at an Agrituristica before so were unsure what to expect. It could not have been nicer. Everything was clean, fresh and new. And the proprietress was lovely. We went to a wine tasting first at Gambino Winery 7 minutes away which I highly recommend. This was the perfect location for that. We left in the morning for Taormina which was an easy 35 minute drive. we are a family of Americans figuring it out as we go. This part of our trip went very easily...

"When we booked the property, our priority was firstly a pool so that our six year old daughter could further her swimming progress. Secondly we wanted to be central so we could visit Naxos, Mt Etna and Palermo. The property is central but sadly upon arrival, we were greeted to the sight of the very friendly female caretaker washing the dirty terrace and a very grumpy male caretaker fishing insects out of the pool which was filthy. "We spent two weeks in a villa and enjoyed visiting NorthEast Sicily as well as Aeolian Islands. The place is quiet and yet just 5-10 min away (by car) from the nearby town and motorway. We tried local olive oil and it was veeeery good. That was the last week of September plus first week of October sso evenings and nights were pleasantly cool."

"Laura is a superb host. Her meals are not to be missed. Location is isolated and peaceful, yet driveable to Mt. Etna, Catania and Siracusa. And there are views of Etna from right on the property. We shall return."
