"We stayed here in mid-October where the fall colors were just about peak. The panoramic view from the porch exceeded our expectations - just breathtaking. The water was a nice feature although the boardwalk was not really functioning. We found that you don't really need it to get to the water's edge. We stayed with another couple we were very close to, so the close quarters upstairs was not a problem at all. "We had a wonderful stay at The Garden Cottage. It certainly lives up to its name! We loved walking the property and seeing the beautiful plants and a little wildlife. The location is excellent because it is close to town, Brow Park (gorgeous sunsets!!), and DeSoto Park. The cottage itself is adorable and the perfect size.
