Welcome to Westhaven Woods, our private and newly remodeled house tucked away and surrounded by old redwoods and within a short walking distance to the cute and friendly town of Trinidad.


The home includes two bedrooms, along with a den, living, and dining area. The kitchen has all the amenities you need to cook a meal and, in the evening, sit in front of the cozy, wood burning stove or enjoy the outside fire pit. There is a separate laundry room with a washer and dryer, along with enhanced speed Wi-Fi throughout the house.


Enjoy the convenience of walking or taking a short drive into town. Only minutes away are Murphy's Market & Deli, The Lighthouse Grill, and Headies Pizza and Pour. Other places to visit are Trinidad State Beach, which is a 10 min walk or three min drive. Stop by the Trinidad Trading Gallery five minutes down the road by foot or enjoy a glass of rich-flavored red varietals at Moonstone Crossing Winery, just a few minutes further.

Very comfortable beds and in a very quiet area. Loved being just a few blocks from the ocean. Watching the sunset go down over the Pacific Ocean was just beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay while visiting the Redwoods. My kids enjoyed the fire pit outside. The beds were comfortable and the house was stocked with what we needed.

Such a perfect cozy spot!
Check in was super easy, and after figuring out the Wi-Fi password, everything went perfectly! Next time I’m back in Trinidad, I will look at staying here again! So close to the beach also!!

Great Costal Town With A Nice Woodsy Feel
This was the perfect place to stay for our family. Our kids wanted to see some redwoods for their birthday trip. Their birthdays are only 5 days apart. We found this place and it was such a great location. A short walk to the market and a pizza place for the kids and the Lighthouse Grill was a great place to eat. It’s only a short 5 minute drive to the pier, to see the ocean and have a nice breakfast at the restaurant on the pier. You can look at the ocean and eat breakfast at the same time. The Strawberry Hiking trail was great for our kids to connect with nature instead of electronics. Overall would definitely stay there again. It was nice building a fire with the wood stove for that cabin feel. Thank you for letting us stay at your wonderful home. We had a great time.

Lovely cabin in the woods
The property is a quiet cabin in the woods, ferns surrounding the bedroom windows. With a full kitchen and comfortable living area, it would be perfect for an extended stay to explore the area. It will be my future go-to spot to visit family (in Eureka) and relax.

Very nice house in the woods
Perfect house for exploring Redwoods parks. It's huge and the kitchen has everything. It is also very quiet. Short walk from the local grocery store and a restaurant. I would definitely stay again.

Cabin in Trinidad
This house is small but the spaces have been thoughtfully planned to maximize efficiency. House is well stocked from the kitchen to the bathroom. The location is only a couple of minutes from the heart of Trinidad. Easy check in and check out as well.

Hidden little gem!
We absolutely loved our stay at this cute cabin. I was amazed how close it was to town & how the cabin was stocked with literally everything we needed from bathroom supplies to kitchen supplies. Someone could literally live there. I am happy we got in before prices go up for the busy season but I will definitely want to stay there again!! The beds weee SO comfortable I want the mattress in my house!!! Thank you!!!!

Just what we needed!
The house was in the perfect location to spend the weekend enjoying all that Trinidad has to offer. The fire pit was great for roasting s'mores. Kitchen was very well equipped and we made use of the wood burning stove, even though it never really got too cold in the house. The room heaters were a bonus too! We would definitely stay there again!

Good property at amazing location
Staying in Trinidad is always the best option when looking to visit Redwood National and State Parks. This property was perfect as it was only 2 of mins from the highway and was close to the forest behind the house. The house was a cozy little place for the three of us and we enjoyed every minute of it. My kid had fun roaming around the place in the woods. The property was well maintained and the manager responded promptly. The kitchen was well equipped with basic utensils and cutlery. Overall a very enjoyable stay and experience.
