"Another good experience. It was my second time going to the beach lodge. Highly enjoyed the view of the beach, the food was very good. 10/10 chef. The staff were very kind to us. We accidentally showed up after hours and there was no hassle. We dealt with the payment the next morning because we checked in too late. We had steak and bake and shark (for lunch on one day and for breakfast the next). It was to die for. You have to walk alot in this area or else you probably wont get to the beach....

"The guest house is nestled just below Mount St Benedict’s monastery halfway up said mountain. As such the views are spectacular and the breeze is welcome in the face of the heat waves you can face in Trinidad. It has a decidedly olde worlde tenor with antiques throughout the common areas as well as the bedrooms.The proprietors are charming hosts and the continental breakfast is particularly good. "Perfect place for a safe and enjoyable vacation! Food, including the complimentary breakfast was top class and comparable to any 5-star restaurants in the US, France, Spain or Singapore. The staff were well mannered, courteous, and willing to do whatever needed to make guests comfortable.. I also enjoyed the welcome goodies from the most famous bakery store in Trinidad. Puff-n-stuff, a true Trini experience. I will go back there in a heartbeat…"
