The only ussue we had was that Expedia had not confirmed the booking with the hosts even though I had paid in full weeks beforehand. They were surprised to see us but welcomed us wholeheartedly despite the confusion . Hopefull the issue has resolved and my hists paid now .

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Owners Gisela and Wilfredo, and especially their house keeper (Maria?) looked after us very well. During our stay the power cuts were quite bad, with only 3 hours power one day and 5-6 hours the others - fortunately mainly with power at night for the air (they also have a battery powered fan). The emergency lighting worked well, and because the location is so close to the Plaza Major and old town (but in a lovely quiet road), you can walk back in the evening without too much problem. Lovely breakfast and nice people, with what are simple rooms, but that have all that you need. Recommended. If you like vegetarian food then there is a great little place nearby called Diverso Trinitario, on Calle Lino Perez. Pumpkin curry was excellent. We also loved Trindad500 restaurant at bottom of Calle Simon Bolivar. Very good food and friendly. Also close by.
