"We were originally booked for 2 nights and extended it to 4. The hotel and Opatija were perfect for taking it easy and enjoying nature. The hotel is everything that the photographs depict. Having breakfast on our private terrace was to die for! The staff is friendly and efficient. One day we rented a car and drove to Motovun in the Istria Peninsula which was very enjoyable. Driving in that area was easy."

"I was misled by the drone photo of the property. There is an industrial zone between the property and the ocean. The room door was like a safe door, heavy with a 4-pronged bolt. It hinted that the area needed extra safety precautions."

Our room was spacious with a beautiful sea view. What really sets this hotel apart is the service - the staff who work here are so kind, friendly and willing to help.
