"The property is a lovely old fishermans cottage. Set over 2 floors and with an adequately equipped kitchen and bathroom. Close enough to the centre of Le Crotoy to stroll to, yet far enough away from the centre for peace and quiet. This made a great base for our visit to the area. We would definitely stay there again."

The gite has all the facilities and equipment you need to make for an enjoyable time away, especially when the log burner is lit! "A little disappointed! Unfortunately we arrived in wet weather and couldn't gain access to the property. We assumed that we would be met, but apparently we needed to contact the non English speaking caretaker and our french is not conversational. Fortunately we were able to contact the owner who was able to arrange access. "This property is the worst we have ever stayed in. It was filthy, the dishes in the kitchen were cracked and dirty. The stairs to the bedrooms are a ladder and my Mum couldn’t get up and down them. The boiler didn’t work properly and actually broke on the last day leaving us no hot water. There was a smashed window in my daughters bedroom which I told the owner about and he didn’t even respond. This place is not fit to be rented."

"Ideal location for the good quality golf courses in the area. Whilst this is a good property there were a few areas that we thought could be improved on. We arrived on a Sunday evening and shops are closed in France. A welcome pack with a few essentials would be appreciated. Listing on VRBO advised that towels were provided, none in the gite, not even a tea towel for drying up. "4 night stay in late February. We booked a 2 bed apartment( 1 double and small room with bunk beds). Had corner balcony overlooking the Liane river towards town. Heating worked a treat intact had to open windows to cool down. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, resolved an issue with broken hair dryer swiftly. Booked parking for our stay in the underground car park belonging to Evancy. Checkout is usually 10.00 but we paid the extra to extend until 14.00. deposit taken on arrival...

"Second time staying at Tresors d'Opale and not the last! It's a lovely property, clean and very comfortable with quality kitchen and beds. The delicious bakery is 2 mins walk away and the beautiful beach about 5/10 mins walk either through town or the dunes. We love Le Touquet but find this place relaxing and much quieter...and cheaper! This time, we didn't like the fact we were in an inter-connecting room, we could hear every noise and conversation from next door, so make sure you don't get one...
