The staircase to the upper floor begins in the master bedroom; we didn't mind this but some might. The owners live nearby and were very helpful. I would describe the style as shabby chic."

"We had a lovely stay at this traditional old Stone property. The bedrooms were very comfortable but only one toilet upstairs meant going to the loo in the night wasn’t easy. Also the bathrooms only had hand held showers in the baths which wasn’t ideal. The housekeeper that met us was very friendly and helpful and explained everything very clearly. It has the best of both worlds, being in a quiet rural location but an easy drive to the beautiful beaches and coast line. The house is large and well equipped and the garden ideal for children - cycling locally is safe and easy with kids. We will certainly return."
