Nestled just outside the charming village of Llwynygroes, our 17th-century cottage offers a perfect blend of historical charm and modern comfort for an idyllic holiday retreat. The surrounding area offer a wealth of activities for visitors to enjoy, making it an ideal destination for nature enthusiasts and history buffs alike. Explore the scenic countryside with its network of walking and cycling trails, perfect for discovering the lush landscapes and local wildlife. Visit the nearby Cors Caron Nature Reserve (7.5 miles), where you can stroll along boardwalks through ancient peat bogs and spot rare bird species. History lovers will appreciate a trip to Strata Florida Abbey (12 miles), an impressive medieval Cistercian abbey with fascinating ruins to explore. For a taste of local culture, spend a day in the charming town of Tregaron (5.5 miles), known for its traditional Welsh shops, cosy cafes, and the historic Talbot Hotel.
This enchanting stone-built abode made of stone and cob and was rebuilt using traditional materials, boasts original features such as exposed wooden beams, a cosy willow chimney, and rustic slate floors, providing an authentic glimpse into the past.
